Really enjoyed the stay! Large house with plenty of room for the kids to play. Accommodations are nice for large families on Thanksgiving. Kitchen equipped for cooking Thanksgiving meal!
My family and I have enjoyed this home several times during winter and summer months. The home is large, comfortable, nicely decorated and with an awesone kitchen. Terrific view of Peak 7. Quick access to trails. The town of Breck is fun and friendly. Roads to the home were maintained during winter. Can't go wrong to stay here. And last but not least ....the hot tub is great after a day on the slopes or after a long summer hike!
The house was great, exceeded my expectations in terms of how it was decorated and the supplies it had available.
Overall, house was nice, great size and beautiful views. Few issues: 1) pictures on website made house appear somewhat secluded which is not the case. Neighbors are so close that when in master bath, blinds need to be closed, 2) trouble with whole-house A/V, couldn't get to work and neither could the maintenance personnel, 3) TV was inactive due to Comcast recently pulling free channels and requiring cable receiver boxes. Received boxes couple days into vacation (strongly suggest that for this type of house, the owner subscribe to more channels and HD.), 4) getting basement TV to work with main receiver system took some time to figure out but did, 5) neighbor dog kept coming up onto deck (nice but if someone had small children, could be a concern), 6) blender missing gasket so made a mess when using, and 7) Wii worked fine.
Strongly suggest that a 3-ring binder with instructions on how to operate all systems: cable, A/V, Wii, etc. to help operate them. Need to write for all capabilities of technology. Check all appliances before people arrive.
