We had a great long weekend in this beautiful home. The view was incredible and the house is spacious and very well equipped. The photos are exactly as they appear. The owner was very helpful with information and quick to respond to all our questions. The location is perfect. Lots of privacy, you are in the middle of the woods on the side of a mountain on a very quiet dirt road. Yet, in 5 minutes you can be in Blowing Rock with all the restaurants and shopping. Wonderful overall experience!
Had a great experience; cabin was perfect, super clean, modern. The view was fantastic; it must be really incredible in the Fall. Close enough to downtown Blowing Rock for restaurants, etc. but far enough away to escape. Owners' recommendations for hiking, restaurants, entertainment were spot on.
When I was looking for a place to rent, my first priority was the VIEW. This house did not disappoint! The western view is breathtaking, and we saw a stunning sunset both nights. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped. When we had questions, Lisa answered promptly. The house was immaculate! We can't wait to go back!!
The log cabin is beautiful. We enjoyed spending Christmas there. Lisa, the owner, is very nice. She had a wonderful Christmas tree set up as well as other decorations. The views are spectacular and the kitchen and great room are perfect.
My family had a lovely stay in this beautiful cabin. This is NOT a backwoods, pioneer experience...this is upscale, high-end, all-you-would-want and all the comforts(and more) of home! VERY roomy...great kitchen with everything you would need...beautiful family room and fireplace...and did I mention the view?
The road to the cabin is about a mile or so- narrow so be aware after dark- we were fortunate the weather was very mile so not sure about navigating it with snowy conditions. The cabins driveway is right off the road, on level ground-no hill to go down or up. Close to everything!
And did I mention the view?
My husband and I rented this cabin in mid-October 2011 for a twentieth anniversery get-away. We had such a wonderful four days here. The cabin is very clean, inviting, comfortable and well-decorated. It was even better than we had imagined. We spent time hiking in the Moses Cone Park off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, shopping and eating in Blowing Rock and soaking in the amazing fall colors from the cabin. Though it was only the two of us, the cabin could easily accomodate 6-8 comfortably. We have rented several cabins in the Carolina mountains, this was our favorite by far! Lisa was very helpful and easy to work with. We highly recommend it and will definitely return!
