Elegant 2 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home sleeps 4 comfortably. Located on a quiet dead end road this home is a short walk to the quaint town of Oak Bluffs and a short drive to Vineyard Haven. The living room is bright and airy and with a large screen television, a raised hearth fireplace, comfy couches and plenty of room to relax after a long day at the beach. There is a large chef's kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining area that look out onto views of the Brush Pond, the Lagoon and sunsets. On the side yard just off the kitchen is a private fenced in area with an outdoor table and chairs complete with a grill for barbequing your summer catch. Watch egrets, herons and Oscar the Osprey as you relax on your 3 season porch.

We have a Kayak & Canoe for you to use and we keep it on the water’s edge all summer. From the property you can paddle to the Lagoon and then onto the Vineyard Bay. Take a short walk down the road to a beach on the Lagoon or visit the Lobster Hatchery.

The ocean and all public beaches are within a short drive and the three main towns; Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown all have spectacular dining and entertainment.

About Barbara Conkling

this gracious home has been in the family since 1970. Our mother purchased it as a summer home and fell in love with Island life immediately. It soon became her primary residence. Three generations have enjoyed the Island year round and our children have all grown up with the quiet charm of the Vineyard.

This house is located on a private dead end road with friendly neighbors. The house is on the waters edge of a tidal pond that is connected to the Lagoon. It is a quiet spot and a huge Osprey nest is visible from the kitchen window. It is an easy walk to Oak Bluffs and its Cottage City, the flying horses on Circuit Ave and all the summer activities there.
