Awesome 10th Anniversary Weekend!!!

My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Wears Valley Chalet. We had a GREAT time. We stayed 3 nights and the price was VERY reasonable compared to other options. Honestly I was a little worried about what we were getting into because of the price. All of the reviews were great so I went ahead and tried it. We were not the least bit disappointed!!! The cleanliness of the entire chalet was excellent! There are other cabins within sight but you still get the "secluded" feeling that you hope for. Very quiet and relaxing, especially at night. The hot tub was great and located on the screened in porch. There is a pool table, the coffee table has a build in foosball game, and there were a few board games as well. They also had a small collection of movies to choose from for the BlueRay/DVD player. As far as the location, we loved it. It took 15-20 minutes to on the main strip in Pigeon Forge and about 40 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. We visited Cades Cove and it was about a 30 drive into the park. (45 minutes if you are a Sunday driver). Enough rambling. No worries! You will get your money worth and love your stay! We will definitely be back!!! One note, if coming in the winter I would definitely make sure you have 4 wheel drive if any snow is in the forecast. You do have to travel a very short distance on a steep back road. We went in February with absolutely no problem but could be an issue with some snow accumulation. Thanks for an AMAZING Anniversary Weekend getaway!!!! My wife LOVED it!!! Happy Wife, Happy Life!

Cabin was very clean. Off the beaten path, but close enough to town. Easy in/out of the Park. We will definately go back.

As you know,private cabins are hard to find, and yet this one is only about 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, and all of its restaurants, theaters, Dollywood Amusement Park, etc. If you're interested in returning with a larger group, keep in mind that we have a 4,000 sq ft cabin in Gatlinburg, The Gatlinburg Lodge at SmokyMountainViews, which overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, has a huge game room, and 4 MBR suites. My husband and I chose this venue for our anniversary retreat. It exceeded any and all expectations we had. I do not believe I have ever been in a rental lodging that was so immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and easy to live in. Everything was perfect. My husband and I chose this venue for our anniversary retreat. It exceeded any and all expectations we had. I do not believe I have ever been in a rental lodging that was so immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and easy to live in. Everything was perfect. There is not one single thing that I would change. Thank you for such a wonderful, quiet, relaxing experience.
