Modern 6 Bedrooms, 5 Baths (Sleeps 14)

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of Kure Beach Sand Trap, our Ocean Front Home. This is an Ultra Modern, Ocean Front Home with spectacular ocean views. We have furnished it with comfortable furniture for you to enjoy. New Furniture & Beds throughout the 5 bedrooms, 2 New Large Screen TVs, 1 Blueray DVD and Televisions in three of the bedrooms. All the amenities of home for you to enjoy at the beach. Handicapped Accessible.

Elevator Stops on 2 Floors: Main floor has living, dining, kitchen & 2 bedrooms to sleep up to 6 people. The floor plan is open and is handicapped accessible. The living space overlooks the beautiful ocean directly on the beach. There is a porch across the entire ocean side of the house. A table is set up in a covered area to eat outdoors near the kitchen. The house is situated next to the Kure Dunes Association's private beach access (of which we are a members). This provides you with outdoor restrooms & showers coming off the beach. The second floor has 3 additional bedrooms that can sleep up to 8 more people. The upper level has 2 balcony porches to sit & enjoy the ocean views.

Beach Front Convenience. : 5 Restaurants are within a few Blocks from the House. Parks, Tennis, Arcade, Fishing Pier, and Boardwalk are very close. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PRIVATE BEACH is in your backyard. You may want to go down to the end of the island to Tour the Fort Fisher Site, NC Aquarium or take a Ferry Boat ride over to Southport. 2 Golf Courses are within 5 miles of the Home. Bring your swimming gear, golf clubs, sunglasses and suntan oil, a book or 2 some comfortable clothes! Enjoy your week at Sand Trap. We have ample parking (easily enough for 5 cars).

Family Beaches: Kure Beach is known for it's family beaches. The people are friendly and activities all evolve around the water. You can walk the beaches for miles and enjoy the sounds of the seagulls, rolling of the tide and quiet solitude offered to you at Sand Trap. We have traveled the world and are so blessed to know we will be retiring here in a few short years to enjoy this piece of heaven with our family. Until then, we are offering you an opportunity to enjoy this wonderful area with your family!

About Nancy Grier

We have been coming to Kure Beach since 2004. It is a very special place. We love going there and relaxing, eating in the various restaurants and listening to the ocean breezes.

Why Nancy Grier chose Kure Beach

Kure Beach is a wonderful family beach. The people are friendly and beaches are beautiful. We searched for a beach property over several years and traveled the entire coast of North and South Carolina before deciding on Kure Beach. It is quiet and removed, but you can be in downtown Wilmington within 20 minutes, golfing on great courses within 5 miles and shopping at Mayfair or going to a movie in 20 minutes. We love the options that this affords us and our family!

What makes this house unique

Wilmington Airport is 25 minutes from the beach. We fly into Wilmington and rent a car. It is nice to be there so quickly. The Ferry is close, the Aquarium is perfect for a rainy day activity on the Island. Fort Fisher has tours. You can ride your bike on the island, walk, run, hang out on the beach, eat at several restaurants within walking distance, go to a grocery store that is 5 minutes away. What more could you want for a perfect vacation spot?

Kure Beach is a small community south of Wilmington, NC. You may walk the beachs along the entire Pleasure Island, which includes Carolina Beach, Kure Beach & Fort Fisher. You are 20 minutes to downtown Wilmington, where you will find all the amenities of a beautiful southern city. The Fort Fisher Aquarium, Ferry to Southport, or Deep Sea Fishing are just a few examples of daytime activities. Many folks choose to just hang out at the beautiful beaches for the day & then frequent the many restaurant choices available on the island.

We had great time at this property (Sand Trap, 430 N. Ft. Fisher Blvd. Kure Beach, NC 28449). It is a beautiful house and we love its modern design very much. We might come again next year too.

This is a fabulous vacation beach home! Lots of comfy beds (which is rare in beach houses in our experience) and plenty of bathrooms that connect to every bedroom. The view is wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and modern. We loved having the sheets and bath towels provided and a double plus with the beds being made when we arrived. We couldn't ask for better and will hopefully rent Sand Trap again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers

My family recently stayed at this residence for a week. There were 6 adults and 3 small children. We were very impressed! It was so comfortable and very CLEAN!! The beds were very comfortable. I felt like I was in my own bed.

We loved the kitchen with all the amenities--especially the ice maker.
It was nice to have the elevator for groceries, luggage, and baby pack and plays.

There were upgraded televisions in the living room and den areas, which was nice for the guys to watch sports.

I HIGHLY recommend this beach house! You will not be disappointed.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Fantastic Residence

I've been in the Kure Beach and Carolina Beach area to vacation for the past 19 years. This residence was the best yet. The view was excellent and with 4 decks it could not have been better. I have reserved the same house for next year.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children
