We loved our visit to the mountains! 4 days was not long enough. The Blue Ridge Parkway was just minutes away and so was Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. We went Hiking and bought local pottery. Downtown had really great restaurants. Our favorite was the Lobster trap. Never had a bad meal. Angelo's restaurant was close by the house and Friday through Sunday has big breakfasts that are very reasonable in cost. It looks like a big log cabin. The house was very cozy and really spacious! Loved sitting on the deck with the mountain views and the sunsets were amazing! We will be back for fall!

We came up to the Chalet to spend the NYE holiday and it was absolutely perfect. The property owners were extremely responsive and helped make our stay a pleasurable one. Tucked into a mountain side with beautiful sunsets, this a great weekend get-away.

magnificent views

We stayed for 7 days and it was truly a wonderful time. This home is spacious and comfortable. We were close to Ashville but also close enough to make day trips to places like Grandfather Mountain and Cherokee. The views are beautiful and we enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room. The beds are so comfortable. If you like country cooking, visit the Moose Cafe in Ashville. Liz was so helpful and was available to answer all of our questions. We look forward to going back next year.

Asheville is a fun place to be!

Cozy, mountain top getaway with amazing views!

We stayed in this wonderful home for 4 nights (2 adults and a toddler). We enjoyed watching the sun rise and set on the deck and taking in the amazing views. For us, the location (just outside of Asheville) was perfect! We went into Asheville everyday but truly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this neighborhood in the evening. Also loved the decor, huge windows, and beautiful gas fireplace. 4 days wasn't enough...can't wait to come back again! Thanks again, Liz, for everything!

We enjoyed the stay and hope to be back soon. It is so nice being close to Asheville yet on a mountain. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and making everything so easy. We loved visiting the Biltmore Estate. We do want to see it for the holidays. We had a nice time sitting on the deck and seeing the beautiful sunsets across the mountains. It is such a special place to be. We took your advice and went to see Gladys Knights house nearby. Lake Lure was also fun.
