1 bedroom plus sleeping loft, 1 full bathroom, adjacent cabin available.

This is not your everyday rustic North Woods cabin... but rather it's a beautifully restored rustic cabin, sited in a maple and birch forest overlooking a small wilderness lake with loons, otters, and bald eagles. The fishing, canoeing, and kayaking is superb on this clear water lake. Located within the Golden Triangle of the Hayward Lakes Region, our cabin is ten minutes from downtown Hayward, and five minutes from the Birkie ski trail and the CAMBA mountain biking trails. The attention to detail in the design and decor of the cabin is what makes this a rare find. The main cabin has a queen bed in the bedroom and twin beds in the sleeping loft. If needed, the adjacent Swedish cabin with twin beds can be rented.

Cozy Winter Wonderland

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Tiger Cat Cabin. Unlike most oversized, overdone vacation homes, the cabin was smaller and cozy. Our favorite part was firing up the wood-burning stove and just sitting by the fire at night. The cabin is nestled in a forested area with a great view overlooking the lake. The lake is perfect for cross-country skiing. It was private and secluded, which we loved. We rented snowshoes and found a great trail very close to the cabin.

It's true, I can't say enough good things about this cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed to celebrate his 30th birthday and had a wonderful time. When we arrived we found that the cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed (all cookware, dishes, linens, etc.). The cabin was also very cozy and well maintained, I would recommend it to anyone for almost any occasion. I myself plan to return with friends in the future. Judy was very polite and communicative throughout the entire process and answered all my questions promptly. The cabin is very cute (but not too girly-girl lace curtain B&B; kind of cute) with a beautiful view and loads of privacy. The details indicate that Judy and her family love and respect the cabin, which made me feel very welcome and respectful of the space. Come out and listen to the loons, go canoeing, and relax...but don't try when I want to book it again ; ) Thank you so much Judy, we had a really great time!

Truly an awesome weekend!

My daughters and I had such an amazing weekend. The location and all the charming details of the cabin made us want to stay all summer! The accommodations were above and beyond what we expected. This is the perfect place for relaxing, exploring and we could barely stay away from the lake. We already look forward to our next visit!

Quintessential northern Wisconsin cabin on the la

We stayed here last summer and I am only too happy to recommend it to anyone looking to spend time in the beautiful north woods. The cabin is equal parts cozy, tranquil and charming with a beautiful view of the lake. We fished and swam and spent lots of time wining and dining on the deck. Although the main cabin is not big, it's well designed and very comfortable for 4 people. In addition to the cabin itself, there is also a bed in the adorable bunkhouse as well as a cook shanty (kinda like a big pantry with an extra stove + fridge). We also found the location ideal. It feels very much like you're getting away from it all but if you're looking for a day in town, bustling Hayward is only 10 minutes away. All in all, it gave us a lot bang for our vacation buck. We can't wait to come back!
