Clearwater Beach - Bayside Condos
My poolside studio condo is close to the beach yet away from the crowds. It has a queen bed and an additional sofa bed. There is a 32' flat screen TV, Wi-Fi access and a DVD player.
Please read my reviews! See what others have to say!!!!
The condo is located in a very nice area. It is literally right next door to the Clearwater Yacht Club, a prestigious private yacht club. The condo complex has only 18 units and is quiet; away from the 'parties'. Walk across the street to restaurants and live music. One off street parking space is included.
There is a charcoal barbeque grill located next to the pool for your grilling pleasure.
The main beach area and pier 60 are both about a 25 minute walk. Clearwater beaches have unbelievable fine sand! This beach has rental chairs, shade covers, toilets, food and lots of people. I also provide 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
You can fish off the docks in at the condo (live shrimp is clearly the best). At the main beach area there is a public fishing pier. There is a small entrance fee. Fishing license may be required.
Across the San Key Bridge, a 2 minute drive is the Sand Key Dog Park.
I am an electrical engineer working for a large corporation. I have two toy poodles. I enjoy the gulf coast fishing and golf.
Bob Schiros purchased this condo in 2010
I purchased this property because of it's quiet location. I enjoy both the pool and the beach
We really loved our stay in Clearwater. The studio was well kept, clean, and had all the necessities needed for your stay. Its at a great location that is not far from the beach or food places yet still in a quiet area. Its great to have a parking space that takes the hassle away from the search for one. The pool out back is clean and great for a swim. Definitely recommend this to everyone and would love to come back again.
This is a great cozy condo that is very close to the beach (about 10 min walk) and perfect for a little family of 3 or 4. The place was very clean well organized and furnished with essential kitchen tools, fridge, and stove... The location is super clean, has a private pool, and hidden in a quiet area with a nice marina view. Trolleys & buses are available so we didn't have to rent a car. Bob did a great job in supplying all instructions how to get in the condo & BTW the lock is programmed & you won't need a key. We enjoyed our vacation and we will be back soon.
My husband, 12 year old son and I stayed here over Thanksgiving and although the weather didn't cooperate the condo had everything we needed. There was a lot of attention to detail in furnishing the condo. From beach chairs, cooler, icepacks, kitchen supplies, etc. - everything we needed! My husband and son fished off the docks out back and caught some fish. The condo was very clean upon our arrival and I am picky so me saying that is impressive :) The only negative that I could mention is the pool although very convenient was very cold 71 degrees. The condo manager worked on it all week but it never reached a nice temperature until the day before we left. The weather was not that great so we would have enjoyed the pool more had it been warmer. I would definitely feel good recommending this condo to others.
This is a great little unit. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks with our Parrot. The unit is compact but provided everything we needed. We chose it based on the listing description and the unit lived up to the description. It is located in a very quiet area at the south end of Clearwater Beach. We used it as our base to explore the Clearwater area.
The siding glass door in the kitchen / living area opens directly onto the swimming pool with the best access of any of the other condo units. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, pans. The automatic dishwasher was greatly appreciated. The kitchen table is a bit small. But we had a lot of meals on it.
The owner and the condo manager provided great service. I would recommend
the unit to a friend or relative..
My daughter and I had a great time and this studio condo was perfect for our needs. Beaches just minutes away, nice restaurants, quiet and a pool just out your back door. We couldn't have found a nicer place to stay. Clearwater is absolutely beautiful; if I ever vacation in Clearwater again, I will be sure and reserve this condo. Thanks Bob for a very comfortable, well supplied home away from home!
We really enjoyed our stay here in Clearwater! I stayed with my husband and son and it was just the right size for the three of us. The condo is just as advertised - close to the action, yet tucked away on a quiet street by the bay. It was nice, clean and affordable. Everything we needed was provided including a beautiful pool right outside our door! We really enjoyed the use of the beach umbrella, beach chairs and small cooler for our trips to the beach. The umbrella was a necessity in the hot July sun!
We were able to walk to many places from here, including Pier 60. We walked down there in the evening to enjoy the sunset and were also entertained by street performers and enjoyed the many artisans and crafters selling their wares along the pier. We also walked to IHOP, Gondolier, various shops and an ice cream shop by the Clearwater Beach Hotel. Publix was a short drive away on Island Way. We purchased a few things there to save on eating out. The kitchen was well equipped with whatever you might need to eat-in.
Other places we visited were…
Sand Key Beach – nice, quiet beach; $5 to park there; found some nice shells there; short drive over the south bridge.
Honeymoon Island – approx. 30 min drive north; nice, natural beach; $8 admission; searched for shells first on the north end, then came to south end to eat and swim; realized later that where we were sitting on the beach was right by where they filmed part of Dolphin Tale; beach was a little too rocky for our tastes to swim in – wear water shoes
Clearwater Marine Aquarium – happened to visit when the actor/actresses from Dolphin Tale were there and got to see them; took the Sealife Safari Cruise (worth the extra $); saw Winter and Hope
The only thing I wish we would have had were bikes, so if you are driving there, I would definitely bring them along. There are plenty of areas to ride.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Our host, Bob, was more than accommodating. He called to make sure we got in ok and helped us out when we needed him. Caretakers, Cindy and Van, were on-site, and available to assist if needed. This was our first time using home-away and I was nervous how everything would work out, but everything went smoothly! Easier than checking into a hotel and more amenities too! Thank you, Bob!
