Tenuta “Santa Barbara” sits on the top of an uncontaminated green hill, surrounded by chestnut and hazelnut trees. From there guests can enjoy a natural panorama absolutely intact.

The property (25 hectares) includes “Il Casale” and ”La Stalla”.
“Il Casale”, dating back to the 17th century, has retained the original structural features of the monastery from which it derives.
On the first floor lies a spacious and bright apartment, from each room guests can enjoy the surrounding wooded landscape. The apartment consist of a large living room with exposed beams and a fireplace; three double rooms with bathrooms; and a nice, fully equipped kitchen.
On the ground floor (220 sqm) two large spaces have been made out of the old building, recovering the brick vaults, the stone arches and of the mangers. Waiter and catering are upon request; cooking classes can be arranged with a professional chef.
“La Stalla”, an ancient farm became a cosy cottage surrounded by a flourished garden, has got 6 double rooms (with connecting bathrooms) and a triple room; a very comfortable and large double living room open on the garden and verandas, and equipped kitchen. This apartment and its veranda face the pool.
A smaller, quiet and independent apartment, Ls 'Stalla piccola ' has got private verandas, 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and a comfortable living-studio open on the wide west garden.

A panoramic pool looks around hills; a barbecue and a wood stove are build in the ancient farm’s structures in the garden. A patio surrounded by medical herbs, rincosperna, and a cherry.

A well-stocked supermarket, a chemist's and newsagent's are 900m far; the simple but nice club house restaurant 'Barone Rosso', with excellent local food, is situated on an active airfield only 7km far, as well as in the more elegant 'Locanda di Saturno' where you can have dinner in Sutri.
Located in a strategic position, 'Capranica Sutri' train station is 800m/8minutes walk from the estate, joinable by car or by walk throught cultivated fields. Rome is easily reachable: only 50 km far - 50 minutes by car!! (1h10 by regional train to St . Peter’s station / Basilica di S. Pietro; 1.20h to Trastevere’s station; or 50 min. by car). Both roman’s train stations are connected with Leonardo da Vinci Airport. Guided tours of the area, towns and Rome can be arranged.
Viterbo is also only 30 km far. (20 minutes by car). You can also easily visit the region and reach several resorts of historical, archaeological and natural heritage.
The ancient city of Sutri, in the immediate neighbourhood (5km) of the estate, offers several monuments of special interest, such as the Etruscan metropolis, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Mitreum. Capranica is the closest town: you can visit the intact medioeval quartier.
Not too far away, you may visit many charming little towns of the region “La Tuscia”, its natural beauties, such as the lakes (Bracciano, Vico and Martignano) or the thermal baths (“Stigliano” and “Terme dei Papi”). You may also play golf at Golf Club “Le Querce”). You can go horse riding in a beautiful and wide estate nearby where professionists can discover paths close to Vico's Lake, and beginners should start to learn.
Other relevant destinations which can be reach easily by car are: Montefiascone 45km/ 50 min; Tuscania; Orvieto is 70 km (1h30).
