Awesome Cabin

5 of 5
Submitted: August 8, 2012 Stayed: July 2012
We loved this beautiful log cabin in the Black Hills! It was awesome-even better than the description. Spacious, very clean, & plenty of room for 5 of us. The owner, Teresa, is very relaxed & made us feel at home! The location is perfect; off the main roads, away from people, super quiet. And there's so much to see & do there!! Crazy Horse Memorial is right down the road! Devil's Tower, Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, hiking, rock climbing-all easy day trips. 'We would love to stay there when we visit Custer again. Thanks again Teresa!

35th Wedding Anniversary

Submitted: January 7, 2012 Stayed: September 2011
We had a wonderful stay in the Black Hills at this cabin. The cabin was clean with a full kitchen and had an amazing fireplace. We had a fire every night. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and played board games with my special needs brother whom we took with us. We were busy going to Mt Rushmore and saw a night blast. We went to a gold mine and did some horseback riding and hiking in the woods. We even went on a wagon ride and afterwards ate a cowboy dinner with a wonderful family. My brother is now an official cowboy! This cabin is a historical cabin and we felt special that we could stay there. Theresa met us near town and we followed her out to the cabin...she took the time to show us around and explain how everything works.
