A perfect home base if you plan to visit Israel for a week or more. A day trip to the north, Direct train to Tel-Aviv or Jerusalem.
I grew up in this house since we immigrated to Israel in 1949. We lived on the lower apartment, where my brother is living now, and this apartment was my parents office.
My parents had a real estate office there named Signon-Szamosi.
I live in the US now for almost 30 years. I kept that apartment for myself, so I can visit more often and for longer times as I approach retirement. Several years ago I totaly renovated the office to be used as a retreat apartment. I especialy love the thick stone walls and the high ceilings. This is one of the best locations in Haifa, it is tucked away on a very quiet street.
Early in the morning you can watch the sun rise and at night all the sparkling lights of the harbor and down town Haifa. The view is never boring since you can watch the boats coming and going.
Very quiet cul-de-sac, yet minutes from downtown, the Carmel center, museums and beaches.
I want to thank you again for the rental of your apartment. It was simply wonderful staying there, and a pleasure meeting Riva, who was very helpful and accommodating. I want to send you money for an umbrella, because we misplaced the one that was hanging on the wall near the entrance. I will mail you a check for $25, which I think is enough to pay for a new one.
I will gladly post comments on your rental website, if you would like me to. And I will recommend your apartment to anyone I know who may be traveling to Haifa.
Thank you again,
We rented this apartment because it was near the Baha'i World Centre and it met our needs for space with our 12 year old daughter. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Shrine of the Bab. It was very clean and had everything we needed including wifi and a fully outfitted kitchen. The view, did I mention the view. Gorgeous. Riva, the caretaker was very helpful. I would say the only drawback to staying here was because our luggage got lost. If we had stayed in a hotel the hotel staff would have been on hand to accept the delivered bags, unfortunately, I stayed behind and missed a day of pilgrimage because I had to wait on the bags. The pilgrimage staff at the World Centre were extremely helpful, and made sure I was able to see everything that I had missed by putting me with another pilgrim group for part of a day. All in all every thing work out just as it should. I am still very glad we stayed there! Thanks again Riva and Miriam!
We were very busy to find a good hotel in Haifa. At some days we found an appartments site.......and the appartment of Miriam , was perfect for us!! It has two very nice bedrooms, with, very important, good and long beds, lots of perfect bed linnen,a great living room with a magnificent sight over Haifa!!And also very important for us ,that the first needs for living ,like;coffe, thee, suger, toiletpaper etc. are there for use!!!Miriam ,your place is more than perfect,we hope to come back, thanks to you and to Riva.
We're a couple with two children who stayed in this wonderful apartment this summer. There is only good things to say about the apartment. Everything is new, nice and clean inside, wifi is good, climate is good and there's a great balcony with a fantastic view across Haifa Bay and all the way up to Rosh Hanikra on the Lebanese border. The host is also very nice, helpful and easygoing, making it a perfect stay. We strongly recommend this apartment!
We loved our visit to this modern apartment. It was comfortable, clean, roomy and included everything we needed. There was a minor problem with our water heater, but it was taken care of immediately. However, renters should be aware that there is no easy transportation from this address and we found taxis few and far between. We arrived needing groceries for the next morning, but there is no shopping in the near vicinity. And not speaking the language, had no idea where to go for dinner. It is purely a residential area. Make sure you arrive with a rented car and head down the mountain to the German Colony or up the mountain to Yaffe Nof, neither district is easy walking.
Miriam's apartment is fantastic - it really is a home from home. The views from the terrace are stunning and the apartment has everything you could possibly need. We would not hesitate to stay here again - many thanks Miriam and Riva
.. or better: do not miss this, when you are in Israel.
With its breathtaking view this wonderful appartmentt is located just beside the Gardens of Bahai Temple, fully equipped with all (and more) you need for your comfortable stay.
Parking was never a problem, the Bus stops near by, and the rent is really fair. Miriam, the owner and her fiends onside were very kind and helpful.
