Two kitchens, one on each level with full refrigerators for multi-family retreats. Very close to horseback riding, snow skiing at the Cataloochee Ranch, access to hayrides, bbq's, quaint towns of Maggie Valley and Waynesville to antique, shop and experience local culinary delights! National and local artists work displayed with many seasonal craft fairs. Relax at home and view the wildlife or 30 minutes to Asheville and Biltmore Mansion, gardens and winery. 30 minutes to Cherokee Indian Reservation Ocanoloftee as well as casinos. Hiking, tubing, kayaking in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the National Park minutes away. Something for everyone!

About Tammy Rex

Our family has traveled to Maggie Valley for over 20 years. Every summer we rented a home with our children and enjoyed to many gifts the area has to offer ie. woods, wildlife, quiet time together, rowdy time as well. Many memories were made and we decided to purchase a family retreat home at the top of a ridge. We continue to visit with friends and family and would love to share our uniques experiences with you. Our home is very comfortable and appointed well with linens and cleaning provided. Full comforts of home, but a true getaway with unbeatable views of the sunrise and sunsets! Why Tammy Rex chose Maggie Valley

There are many attractions in a close vicinity. Theme parks, wildlife preserves, trout fishing, golfing, apple orchards, antiique shops, snow skiing, horseback riding at authentic Cataloochee Ranch, 30 minutes to Asheville airport and Biltmore mansion, gardens and winery. Cherokee Indian Reservation is also 30 minutes and educational as well as entertaining with the casinos and live theatre. We hope to the home someday.

What makes this lodge unique

There is a paved, maintained road that takes us to the top of the ridge and breaktaking views. Many rentals are hard to access on dirt roads that are not maintained. We feel we have the seclusion and privacy in the woods with the convenience of easy access. The main lodge at the bottom of the hill is on call for your needs.
