Refreshing and relaxing...this meticulously maintained cottage will take you back to the perfect whitewashed summer cottage along the lake with a large dining porch to enjoy the view & shady lawn leading down to the pier.

The home features 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, large living room and fully stocked kitchen. Mudroom offers washer/dryer and patio doors to the side yard.

Situated in a quiet bay of Castle Rock Lake, Snug Harbor, you're free to leave your boat at the private pier, protected from any high waves.

Enjoy all the lake area activities by day and spend your nights with family and friends as you roast marshmallows and tell tales around the campfire.

This cute and cozy cottage has been immaculately maintained throughout the years, and offers you a relaxing, peaceful retreat for your vacation. With just under 14,000 acres, Castle Rock Lake is the 4th largest lake in Wisconsin and features excellent boating, swimming, and fishing.

Further Details: The cottage is just across the bay from a well-developed boat launch, convenience store and marina, and near Northern Bay replica golf course and Adams County Park.

Close to beaches, fine dining, hiking, golf courses, horseback riding, shopping, nature, cross-county skiing, ATV & snowmobile trails and more — all within 30 minutes of the Wisconsin Dells area.

Relaxation, water-front, all summer or winter activities ... the choice is yours! Accommodates your family of 6 comfortably.

About The Owner: My husband and I both grew up in Wisconsin and love all the four seasons bring. Our 4 children range in age from 14 to 7 and love every minute they can spend on the lake.

Why the Owner Chose Castle Rock Lake:

We purchased this cottage while living on Castle Rock Lake full-time. We wanted to ensure we would have a place in the event we would have to relocate due to my husband's job. We had admired this cottage for years and were elated when we were able to purchase it. The location is fantastic and our kids would stay up all night fishing from the pier (their Dad too) if I let them. It is great walleye fishing right from the dock! The calm bay is perfect for a canoe, kayak or paddle boat and our kids love to paddle across to the gas station for ice cream in the summer. Now that we've moved away, we're so thankful we have this cottage to go back and stay connected to the area that our kids loved dearly growing up.

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: The cottage is conveniently located near Edgewater Marine and an improved boat launch. Because of the calm water and private pier, you can leave your boat docked overnight - protected from high waves - for the duration of your stay. The cottage is located on quiet road, perfect for your morning or evening strolls.

great great great, dont miss the opportunity,owners easy to work with, very clean, great supply of kitchen equipment, nice 4 seasons room, nice pier, good fishing from pier ( i caught 19 inch smally, 3 sheeps head, a few blue gills, and at least 10 white bass that were big, very nice and well kept home, i will be back !!!!!!!!!! thanks

Likes: The cabin was clean. The private dock was not far from the firepit. The gas station and store were just across the harbor. The boat launch was a short drive and a very short boat ride. It included most of the things we were looking for. I enjoyed the faucet in the kitchen sink. The sprayer made doing dishes easier. There was lots of firewood on hand. The people in every direction seemed friendly. Lots of beaches and bars were very close by if going by boat.

Dislikes. The bathroom is strange. A ceiling fan???? really????? The lack of an exhaust fan made it so that everything in the bathroom got wet if you showered.We all felt the beds were too small and personally when I was sober I didn't find them very comfortable. What appeared to be a futon in the photo is not. It is just a couch.

Overall it was a fun trip. If you book here make sure to drive across the lake and check out the party on the backside of the state owned island. Lots of water games and fun there for anyone.

Fishing cottage

It was a very comfortable and peaceful stay for myself and family. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated, and the surplus of linens, and the well stocked kitchen, really made it possible to enjoy it as a home away from home. I look forward to our next stay.
