Enjoy your next vacation in the picturesque Olympic National Forest -- one of the most beautiful regions of the United States. This has been our family lake place for the past 40 years and is full of many fond memories from the first day we started construction in 1970. Now we want to extend the beauty and magic of our cherished place to you!
The location is perfect for the active nature lover or the quiet relaxer alike. The lake provides for all manner of water sports including boating, canoeing, water skiing, swimming and more. The beautiful Olympic forest provides numerous hiking trails of varying length and intensity for everyone from the hiking enthusiast to the family looking to spend a relaxing day together in nature.
Or if you're looking for a little more peace and quiet, enjoy sitting on the deck beneath the Evergreens while you read a book and watch the wildlife go by.

A private community park and boat launch are just a few blocks walking distance and parking passes are included. Boat launch fee is $20 per 3 days.

Yes, thank you for letting us use your lake place. It was nice to have family time, and be in such a beautiful surrounding.
We enjoyed sharing meals at the large kitchen table, and having both the upstairs and down to play games or whatever in two groups.
The house is very well stocked with whatever anyone might need.
We hope to arrange another stay at some future time.
We had the absolute best weekend! We had 2 families with a total of 4 kids. The cabin had enough room for the kids to play upstairs or outside. The way the property is laid out we could let the kids play outside and not worry about them. It was very separate from the other properties. There was plenty of privacy and room for the kids to run outside. It was a short walk to the beach/park - my kids loved it so much! The pictures can't really provide a good enough feeling for how wonderful the cabin was set up and how peaceful the property is. The cabin was so clean and came fully accommodated with everything we could think of needing. We will definitely be coming back next summer, but will be staying much longer! The weekend was not enough time to do everything there is to do here! Thank you so much for sharing you cabin with our families!
We liked this house for the bright upstairs room and the proximity to the park/waterfront. We had a wonderful stay and would stay at this house again in a heart beat.
A last minute getaway for a long weekend ended up exceeding our expectations! A retreat away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives in the city with our neighbors/friends. This cabin was perfect for our two families. Super cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the lake sitting on the porch in the sun, the beach (the boys even swam a few times...brrr!), riding bikes and hiking. We hiked Mt Rose. Tough but worth it. The owner Corlen was extremely accommodating from the moment I inquired about the property and even after we returned he checked in and returned a forgotten item. Corlen, thanks for sharing your cabin with others. I totally understand why you would want to. We will be back!!
Rented the cabin for a weekend away with another family with kids - was rainy and cold but the cabin was a perfect destination. Nice neighborhood for walks in the rain down to the lake - nice size gazebo (which wasn't rented when we were there) to let the kids play outside out of the rain. Great selection of movies, games, and kitchen basics. We will definitely look to rent again.
The other reviews do not lie! There's a reason this property has such high stars! Went up for a getaway with a small group of friends for the weekend and had the best time we could have ever hoped for! You can always tell when the owners of a rental property truly care and this was one of those times! The cabin had everything you could hope for- from paper towels to bar soaps to enough cooking supplies to make Martha Stewart jealous- there was literally nothing we needed, that the cabin didn't already have! (Also the truly impressive VHS library of Disney movies, brought up some feelings of nostalgia!)
The property itself is tucked away, quiet and secluded, so you can really feel as though you are away from everything! And the lake is GORGEOUS. During the time of year that we went (November), there was no one else on the lake, and the feeling our group got standing there as the only people, is an experience that we are never going to forget. Truly incredible.
Our group has rented out several cabins over the past few years and we were all in agreement that this is the one that we would go back to, our absolute favourite. My friends were asking for the info for themselves so they could do their own family vacations here! Cannot give this place enough praise!!!
Perfect place to get away from the city and visit the Olympic national parc.
You can see lake cushman from the house and you can be sure to spend a quiet night. The beds are really comfortable, you have plenty of DVDs for the kids and even a wii.
