WELCOME TO EDEN'S REST! Whatever the season, your search can end here. Beautifully appointed boasting 6 bedrooms and 5 baths, our private retreat is more than spacious enough to host your large group of family and friends, sleeping 14 comfortably. Thoughtfully laid out with two expansive gathering areas allowing folks the luxury to spread out easily and each featuring an HD plasma tv with DVD player. Every room has been professionally decorated with your needs and comfort in mind. From fine linens to a stocked kitchen. Leave your hairdryer at home, there is one in every bathroom! We have made every effort to overlook nothing.

Awaken each morning being greeted by the spectacular Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains inviting you to come out and play. Winter or summer, the convenience of Trapper's Ridge within Wolf Creek Resort simply can't be beat! You are within 12 miles of world class skiing at Snowbasin. Just a five mile shuttle ride up the mountain is Powder Mountain. No man made snow here! With 500 inches of average annual snowfall, this is a crown jewel. Spanning 7000 acres, which is more skiable acreage than anywhere in the United States, it also offers the best intermediate skiing around. Wolf Mountain can be seen from most areas in the valley and, in addition to Powder Mountain, offers nighttime skiing. Bring your snowmobiles or rent locally. Once back at the 'rest', dry wet ski gear to a toasty warm in our generously sized ski closet with heater!

In summer, enjoy the beaches of nearby Pineview Reservoir where swimming and boating can be the order of the day. Pineview also offers a unique blend of sport fish, including trophy-sized tiger muskie. Fish trout in the Ogden River just below the reservoir or fly fish in the streams of the South Fork just above. Throw in some amazing hiking, biking, or maybe some horseback riding. The 'big' sky offers no limits! And at the end of the day, the biggest decision you will have to make is whether to grill on the porch, soak in our private, in-ground hot tub watching the stars put on their show above, or dress for a nice dinner out. Ahhhh......heaven.

Our family is made up of many spread out from down south in Georgia to South Carolina, Texas, Idaho, and Utah. We find great joy in owning properties we manage and share for vacation rentals in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho; Lake Burton in North Georgia;, Lake Lure, North Carolina; Fripp Island, South Carolina; New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and two in Eden Valley, Utah, at Trapper's Ridge.

Why Debbie Kuhlhorst chose Eden

It is not by chance our family enjoys homes in Eden Valley! Just outside the spectacular Ogden Canyon is where our father was born and raised. It was here he learned the value of family, hard work, and perseverance. From his windows he enjoyed views of the same gorgeous mountains you will from yours. Though life and circumstance eventually landed Dad far from these mountains, these mountains never left him.

Coming ‘back home’ to this valley was always a dream of his. He wanted us, his children, who grew up in the south, to know our heritage and have the opportunity to experience and appreciate the beauty of his childhood home as he does. It was for this reason he bought two, gorgeous homes in Trapper’s Ridge.

There simply is no better place that offers what this valley can. In winter, you will enjoy some of the most amazing powder imaginable at nearby Snowbasin or Powder Mountain. Summers are equally grand with days spent at the lake or hiking these many trails, just to name a few. End the day at one of the variety of restaurants the valley has to offer or simply choose to grill on the back porch. Enjoy a 'soak' in our private, in-ground, hot tub while marveling at the endless stars shining above. What a gift! And it is our pleasure to share this gift with you.

annual ski trip for the old guys - utah 2013

What great accomidations for our annual outing. Over the 25 plus years that we have been doing this annual ski trip the accomidations rank up ther at the top of the list. We found the property to be well maintained, very clean, well appointed, comfortable and convieniently located for our ski group.

The owners were unbelievable and went out of their way to make our trip a sucess. We do not usually do repeat ski trips since the annual trip is a opportunity to explore some great ski resorts in north america.

Snow Basin and Powder Mountain are wonderful mountains - bet you too will be impressed.

Our family had a great stay at this home. It accommodated our group well and every couple felt they had their own private space, but enjoyed getting together in the common areas.

The only downfall is it advertises Queen sized beds, I actually measured them and each bed is a full, besides the Master. While a wonderful house, with the men in our family tend to be very tall, I wouldn't have reserved this home if I knew they were full sized beds.

The pros however are many, including great place for a large group, great location and beautiful decor.

My family stayed in this home for three nights. It was perfect for our family (6 grown children, some spouses, and grandchildren); the grandchildren loved playing upstairs and in the hot tub while the adults relaxed and chatted in the living room. The home is beautifully appointed and well equiped. We prepared and served Thanksgiving Dinner without a hitch because of a well equiped kitchen. Although we live in the Salt Lake area, we felt we were away on vacation because Eden is so beautiful and peaceful. We hope to stay again at this location and Amy was delightful to work with; very accomodating.

Beautiful home and location as description states! This was the perfect rental for our family reunion while attending our son's wedding in Liberty UT. All ages, 9 months to 95, were comfortable in this spacious, tastefully decorated home. Everyone had the privacy of their own bedroom and bath but could gather in the two common areas to talk and laugh together. Special highlights were clean beautifully decorated accommodations, comfortable beds, soft linens, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, outdoor grill and patio, community pool. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect summer vacation! The homeowner was a delight to work with.
Side note: Harley and Bucks Restaurant in the neighborhood was an excellent choice for our son's rehearsal dinner.

What a great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. It worked great for our family reunion. If we come to Eden again, we would love to stay here. Amy was wonderful to work with.
