Classic New England Beach Cottage

We’ve been renting the Arbory Cottage for many years. It feels like home and is always bright, clean, and welcoming when we arrive. It is situated below an infrequently traveled street. The front and back yards are spacious and perfect for children. Rose of Sharon bushes are everywhere and a majestic willow sits near the rear porch. The rear deck is pleasant for meals al fresco and has a nice large Weber gas grill. Many’s the August night we’ve sat and watched meteor showers from it.

The cottage’s dining room has a nautical theme. One whole wall is festooned with antique prints of sailing ships. Models of windjammers are situated above the fireplace and opposite wall. An amply sized dining table can comfortably seat 6 people. One can accommodate guests easily but the place is perfect for a small family, or for a couple.

There’s a television, not huge, and a DVD player in the living room and the cottage has Wifi . The kitchen is well appointed and a pleasure to cook in.

We’ve loved coming to Cape Ann for decades, and Arbory Cottage has exponentially increased our pleasure.
