Our cabin is ONE ROW ABOVE LAKE FRONT, about 40 yards from the water, with a short one minute walk down to a private beach and shared pier. The brand new hot-tub and deck have a stunning 180 degree view of the lake, unobstructed. We finished the remodeling of the interior in February 2011, and have added brand new appliances, beds, bedding and furniture. We are behind a private 6 foot fence, with an iron gate for privacy and safety, with a vacant lot behind and beside us.
The cabin is 100 yards from West Side Pizza and Tavern, 100 yards from the US Post Office, and 200 yards from the PDQ market, the only grocery store for 8 miles in either direction. You can park your car and never leave, for as many days as you want to hide out!
This location is as good as it gets on the West Shore. The two bedrooms comfortably sleep 6, and a brand new fold-out queen sized couch in the family room next to the fireplace makes the cabin sleep a total of 8 people.

About The Owner
We are six-season homeowners in Tahoma, and we have our own private cabin on 9th Avenue, just up the hill from this cabin. We live in San Diego and come up as often as we can, as our 5 and 7 year old sons love to ski, sled and enjoy the lake in the summer.
We have a lot of pride in our affiliation with the West Shore, and we are the distributors of the 'West Shore Best Shore' hats, tee shirts and stickers you see around the area.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2010

Tahoe is the best place in the world.
Where else can you: water ski, snow ski, hike, bike and camp, all from a short walk from your front yard?
And as for buying this particular cabin: THE VIEW and LOCATION, by the water, one row above lake front.
What makes this cabin unique
Our cabin is in a gated community, currently consisting of just our home, as the two other lots are unsold and undeveloped.
You can walk 100 yards or so and be in the lake, shopping for groceries, mailing a package or having a beer and/or pizza. And yet, its very quiet, very peaceful, and private on our lake-fronting deck. The property is on a hillside, so the lake front mansions below us are in fact, well below us, making the view truly magnificent.
