Our cabin is ONE ROW ABOVE LAKE FRONT, about 40 yards from the water, with a short one minute walk down to a private beach and shared pier. The brand new hot-tub and deck have a stunning 180 degree view of the lake, unobstructed. We finished the remodeling of the interior in February 2011, and have added brand new appliances, beds, bedding and furniture. We are behind a private 6 foot fence, with an iron gate for privacy and safety, with a vacant lot behind and beside us.
The cabin is 100 yards from West Side Pizza and Tavern, 100 yards from the US Post Office, and 200 yards from the PDQ market, the only grocery store for 8 miles in either direction. You can park your car and never leave, for as many days as you want to hide out!
This location is as good as it gets on the West Shore. The two bedrooms comfortably sleep 6, and a brand new fold-out queen sized couch in the family room next to the fireplace makes the cabin sleep a total of 8 people.

We are six-season homeowners in Tahoma, and we have our own private cabin on 9th Avenue, just up the hill from this cabin. We live in San Diego and come up as often as we can, as our 5 and 7 year old sons love to ski, sled and enjoy the lake in the summer.
We have a lot of pride in our affiliation with the West Shore, and we are the distributors of the 'West Shore Best Shore' hats, tee shirts and stickers you see around the area.

Tahoe is the best place in the world.
Where else can you: water ski, snow ski, hike, bike and camp, all from a short walk from your front yard?
And as for buying this particular cabin: THE VIEW and LOCATION, by the water, one row above lake front.
Our cabin is in a gated community, currently consisting of just our home, as the two other lots are unsold and undeveloped.
You can walk 100 yards or so and be in the lake, shopping for groceries, mailing a package or having a beer and/or pizza. And yet, its very quiet, very peaceful, and private on our lake-fronting deck. The property is on a hillside, so the lake front mansions below us are in fact, well below us, making the view truly magnificent.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It has the most amazing view of the lake. Beautiful sunrise in the morning!. Spent most of our time on the deck. Enjoyed walking to Sugar Pine, PDQ market, pizza and the beach! Would definitely come back again!! Thanks for a great week!
I look my wife and kids here for a 9 day summer vacation in July. This place is great! It sits on a huge lot that is fenced about 45 yards from the Lake. The views are incredible. The cabin is really comfortable and has everything you need and it was perfect size for the four of us. The lot is so big it must be an acre in size so you get great privacy. There is a short 1 minute walk downhill to a private beach and pier. We spent most days swimming, paddle boarding, and the kids crawdad fished. Also spent tons of meals BBQing on the deck overlooking the lake and sitting in the jacuzzi after the long days of hiking and swimming. It was really cool to watch the early evening lighting storms over the lake from the deck. If we needed something is was a 3 min walk to the market and pizza place down the street. Tahoma is great- nice and peaceful. Make sure to check out Sugar Pine State Park which is just 1/2 mile up the road for miles of beachfront hiking and secluded beach stretch. Looking forward to coming back!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was cozy, and the perfect size. Not to mention the amazing view of the lake from the back porch. Everything worked perfectly (heaters, wifi, TV, etc.), and Ross was awesome - super pleasant to deal with. Had to call him with a really simple question, and he graciously assisted. Also the hot tub was incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Beautiful location and cabin. Cabin has more than enough amenities and VERY CLEAN. Owners very easy to work with. Definitely going back.
My wife and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights for our 3rd Anniversary. We loved the cabin, it has a great view and is conveniently located near a pizza restaurant and coffee shop that is less than a minute to walk to. We enjoyed going to the pier and sitting at the lake. It was great to have all the kitchen utensils and pans to be able to make a few meals easily. We would definitely come back to stay here again.
+ : close to the lake and to the Grocery; all you need in kitchen, laundry, towels, etc.; ratio cost/quality very interesting; very good quality of the Wi-Fi; private beach very close and clean (one remark : we have search it a the beginning, a little map could be interesting..)
- : some lights were broken (terrace in dark, living-room); hard to maintain the hot-tube temperature (decreasing slowly every day)
A very good and charming experience during our holidays in USA
Tahoma is quiet, it's almost a secret get-away from the city, and from the busyness and crowds of the North Shore and South Shore. Yet it offers everything that Lake Tahoe has to offer.
Our cabin is in a perfect location with a full view of the lake, just one row above lakefront. The deck is peaceful and quiet and secluded. We are less than 100 yards from West Side Pizza and the U.S. Post Office, and about 150 yards to the PDQ market where you can buy groceries, wine, newspapers, fresh baked goods or rent videos for a quiet evening at home overlooking the lake.
Hiking, swimming, boating, Emerald Bay, skiing, it's all just a couple of miles away.
