Kim and Rick Roberts live in Prescott. They moved here 9 years ago because of Prescott’s mild climate, great location, small-town feeling with big town activities.

They love the uniqueness of Arizona’s former territorial capital with it’s Western flavor and artistic venues (not to mention the free live music throughout town). Both have traveled extensively around the world and have picked Prescott as their home. Kim is a well-respected local realtor and knows every inch of this area.

We were tired of small Hotel rooms and wanted a place roomy enough for 2 people. This is the perfect place. Clean and neat with a smell of freshness when you walk through the door. It was just as described on the web site. We loved having the well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to prepare a meal. The bathroom had plenty of soft towels. It is a short walking distance to town with beautiful homes to see along the way. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!!

The cottage was cute and clean. We have a small dog and always need lodging that accepts her. We enjoyed walking down Mt. Vernon each day and viewing the beautiful houses. The cottage is within walking distance of the courthouse, downtown shops and restaurants. Kim was a gracious hostess, always asking if we needed anything. We will definitely make this a place to stay whenever we are in Prescott.

Prescott getaway

My husband & I chose Prescott as a place to escape the Valley heat. Aspen cottage fit our budget and
the location we wanted to be in. Easy walking to shops, restaurants and sites. We felt a little closed in
because the cottage is set back from the main road and for privacy we needed to keep the drapes
closed. Two tiny air conditioners worked fulltime to keep the place cool. Kim, the owner, took care
of any concerns we had very quickly. The entry to the cottage from the street has a huge plant obsuring
the road when leaving. Overall we had a good time.

Owner's Response: Dear Linda, I'm so glad you enjoyed the location and were able to take in all of the sites and sounds of historical Court House Square. Sorry about my neighbors large Broom plant. It's gorgeous but caution is recommended when leaving the driveway of the cottage. I guess the good news is...it's deciduous :). It was nice having you and Bill. Rick and I hope to see you again!

Aspen cottage is just as described and we had a great peaceful stay. And important to us, it is right in town and an easy walk to everything.

Kim was very helpful with this last-minute gt-a-way and we never had to contact her during our stay. The place was very clean, well-equipped and there were enough towels and linen for a small country.

We would recommend this property for anyone interested in staying in town in a clean, quiet, modest setting close enough to all of the historic walking-tour sites, but far enough away form the action of downtown to be private and quiet.

Thanks again

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to review your stay! Aren't good towels just THE best? I'm looking forward to having you for stay #3. Stay cool this summer. warm Regards, Kim

Awesome place nestled in-between beautiful homes on picturesque street! My husband and I were in town to run in the Whiskey Row Marathon and we wanted to be able to walk to and from the start/finish line (downtown Prescott/famous Whiskey Row) and this was PERFECT! It was very comfortable and quiet, which it exactly what we were looking for. My only issue (I refuse to say complaint) was that the sheets seemed a little worn and could be replaced. We will most definitely be back to stay here without hesitation!
