We moved to Pagosa Springs from Kanab, Utah where we had both enjoyed 8 wonderful years working for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. We also ran a successful Guest house from our home. . Jason received an exciting new job offer with Parelli Natural Horsemanship which brought us here to Pagosa. Juliette is a dedicated Natural horsewoman and is currently a student with Parelli Natural Horsemanship. We have 6 rescue dogs, 3 pygmy goats and 2 horses all sharing our life with us. We are thrilled to be able to share our wonderful Guest Cabin with fellow travelers and we will do everything to make your stay memorable.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2011
One of the reasons we decided to buy the main house was because the guest cabin that came with it was so nice and we could see the potential. Also since we had so enjoyed running our rental property in Utah it seemed like a natural progression.

Beautiful and easy relaxation! I highly recommend this property for any one who wants to take a break from the day to day life!
Beautiful Pagosa Springs property! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Paws Ranch. The guest house is just right for a couple to get away from it all and have some down time. I highly recommend this property!
This charming home away from home was the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing and hiking. The owners are amazing! Extremely helpful and friendly. The property is tucked away and very quiet, yet close enough to trails and town. What an awesome extended weekend.
My husband and I just had a last minute get away at Red Paw Ranch and it was great! The cabin was perfect for 2 after a long day of skiing! The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. The wood burning stove warmed the cabin up quickly. And the bed was super comfy. We loved how it had that "out in the country" feel, but still gave us easy access to town and Wolf Creek. And our hosts were the best! They made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation as enjoyable as possible! Above and beyond from day one! Thank you!!!
Juliette and Jason's studio was perfect for two overworked people who needed serious downtime! A very relaxing and cozy space - extremely comfortable and warm. We brought our own food, and it was easy to warm things up in the surprisingly well-equipped kitchen. Quiet and just a bit outside of town, and that was very nice. Easy access to Wolf Creek, cross-country skiing and only about 5 mins to town. Juliette and Jason were great hosts - very sweet animals too - and they offered restaurant and other suggestions while offering us lots of privacy. Can't wait to come back!
My dog and I loved everything about Red Paws Ranch! Quiet, beautiful morning walks in the trees, friendly ranch pets, great host and hostess! Juliette and Jason have helpful local tips on eats and hikes, and they gave me privacy and space to fully enjoy my decompression vacation. Perfect distance from town, mountain hikes and scenery. I will be back and my dog wishes we never left!!
