The pictures of this property do not do it justice as to how beautiful it is. Even better than described, well worth the money. The property was clean and in great condition. It slept our group quite comfortably and everyone had a great time hanging out in the hot tub or playing cards or hanging out around the massive kitchen island. The snow and Kicking Horse hill was the best I've ever seen and is only a few minutes from the lodge. Payment was easy to arrange and my damage deposit was returned promptly. Thanx again David.
This property was amazing in pretty much everyway ... rustic meet modern!! We were 3 families (from Langley, BC; Moncton, NB and Calgary, AB) who all met at Kicking Horse for an awesome family reunion weekend in July 2011 ... 12 of us all together ... 6 adults and 6 children ages 9 to 15!! Everything was modern and clean, and we all slept comfortably in the beds provided. Much time was spent in the modern kitchen around the huge island just talking and catching up and we enjoyed our late nights in the hot tub after long days exploring. The gondola up the mountain had spectacular views including a grizzly bear enclosure below one of the towers. The kids and Dads had a blast going horseback riding. The girls that worked there were super and made the kids feel very comfortable and safe on there horses ... everyone loved it!! Everything was provided ... the only things we had to bring were our clothes and food & drink!!! We have been telling everyone about this place and hope to go back again soon ... maybe next year!!!
