This 2 bed / 2 bath unit is quiet and fairly private for being in a condo complex. Relax on the patio, in the shade of an umbrella over patio table. while BBQ'ing your favorite fresh fish.

The master bedroom has a California King bed w/ air conditioning and cable TV. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with a memory foam mattress for extra comfort. You have extra guests? No problem, there is a pull our queen size couch bed in the living room. Almost all the living room furniture is brand new in 2011, and we tried to go with a tropical theme. In December of 2011, both of the bedrooms were repainted, and we replaced the dishwasher with an ultra quiet Bosch. It is hard to tell it's even on. We have a wireless router in the unit connected to the cable broadband for internet connection.

We live in Anchorage, Alaska. I was born in Alaska, but my family lived for 10 years on the big Island of Hawaii. I am now married with two daughters.

Why Elite Property Management Services LLC. chose Kailua Kona

Winters are long in Alaska, and we were looking for a winter vacation home. Our goal is to get to our unit at least once a year. I grew up on the Big Island and am pretty familiar with the islands attractions and activities. My family loves the ocean, both for body surfing and snorkeling, and there are great places for both within a 5 min. drive of the condo. We also like to take walks and hikes. Our condo is right off Alii Dr., which is a favorite place for our morning walks. We also like to drive to Volcano National Park to go hiking and exploring. The town of Kailua- Kona has a few great farmers markets, with fresh tropical fruits and vegetables. Coming from Alaska in winter, it is great to have access to such a great selection. Kona is on the dry side of the Big Island, but it still gets good breezes, so the temp. mostly stays between 65F(18C) and 85F(30C) If you decide to stay here and have any questions about the unit or things to see or do while your are in Kona, please email me. What makes this condo unique

The Alii Lani complex is across the street from the ocean, and less then a 5 min. drive away from the beaches. Shopping is also less then 5 min. away. While we stay at the unit, my daughters love the swimming pool. There are other children in the complex for them to play with. The pool has a nice area for sunbathing or resting under the palm trees, and a Jacuzzi for the adults. I have never seen it get too loud around the pool, even with the children playing. One of the reasons we chose this condo was that it faced the back of the complex. We wanted a unit that was fairly private and that did not have the noise associated with units that are closer to Alii Dr. We find the unit is quiet and the patio is surrounded with tropical plants that give us pretty good privacy from the adjoining condos.

Wonderful home away from home

We had a wonderful 2-1/2 month stay in this condo. The owner tried to think of everything to make our visit comfortable. We liked using the patio with BBQ which the upper condos are not allowed to have. It was nice to have a closet filled with water toys for adults that we took advantage of. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the convenience of being on the first floor. Beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet compared to other stays we've had in the same complex closer to the road. We walked to town easily when we didn't have a rental car plus the local Hele-on bus stops right in front of the complex. A nice public access beach is just across the street a short walk away. As you can see, we loved this place.

Wonderful Unit

The condo exceded our expectations in its location and how quiet it was. The condo is at the very back of the complex so no road noise at all. It was a very short walk through the complex and across the street to watch sunsets which were gorgeous!! I would definitely book this condo again, and would not hesitate to recommend to friends.
