House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

We would like to invite you to relax & have fun at our family's vacation home. Built new in 2010, this is a 2000 sq.foot lake view home with private boat dock on Kentucky Lake next to Moors Resort. The Great Room has floor to ceiling windows, gas fireplace and big screen television. The Kitchen and Dining Room are open to the Great Room and also have a lake view. The Dining Room has a table that seats six and a bar that seats two. The Master bedroom is downstairs with a King size bed & full size bath with heated floors. The smaller downstairs bedroom and upstairs bedroom have Queen size beds and flat screen tv's with DVD players. There is a sitting area upstairs with a Full size sleeper couch.

Relax & grill out on a full size wrap around deck that also has a lake view. There is a large 2 car garage with breezeway to store your boat while visiting.

Your private boat dock is just a short walk-about 150 yards from the house with boat ramps to the lake just around the corner at Moors Resort Landing or at Buckhorn Bay Boat Ramp. You are just minutes away from Murray and Paducah (Kentucky's Quilt Capital) and everything you need for the perfect getaway.

We provide a full stocked kitchen: pots, pans, griddle, plates, coffeemaker, toaster, etc. Also laundry detergent/dryer sheets, linens and bath towels are supplied; however beach towels, personal items (soap, shampoo etc.) should be brought by visitors.

We live just minutes away from the area and have always dreamed of owning a home on the lake. This area is a great place to relax, recharge and spend a peaceful evening watching the sunset. But you are just minutes away from entertainment, great restaurants and a drive-in movie theater with the best hamburgers around!

Great family-gathering home!

Beautifully decorated home with everything provided, including a golf cart and super-large garage for indoor parking of our vehicles. Top-shelf kitchen appliances, laundry and bath facilities...and all were spotless. A bit too cold over the Thanksgiving weekend to enjoy the large wrap-around deck (and fishing from the dock), but appreciated the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows while keeping warm by the gas fireplace. Owner met us upon arrival and was very accommodating throughout the rental process. Overall, a wonderful VRBO property for our family of eight!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Anniversary

I planned a surprise family get together for our 30th wedding anniversary.
The home was beautiful and i must add there wasnt anything the place lacked.
Fireplace and fishing was all i needed but everyone was truly suprised at my choice and could not stop remarking what a great place to be with the family.
Thanks to the owners for making a memorable vacation a total success.
It was like coming home everyday.
We will definitely return.

Wonderful Lake View Home

Four of us spent 5 nights at this wonderful lake view vacation home. We have rented numerous homes on different lakes in KY and TN and found this one to be the best by far. The home is exactly as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. The owners (Mark & Renee) were a pure joy to work with and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay, including dropping off another propane tank for the gas grill. The use of their golf cart for getting to the boat dock and the use of the garage for parking our boat in were wonderful additions. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable home for their next vacation on KY Lake. We certainly plan to stay again sometime.

Great for the Family

My extended family and I really enjoyed staying at this home on Kentucky Lake. We had hit-or-miss weather, due to the remnants of Hurricane Isaac, but we were able to make the most of the limited sunshine outdoors near the dock and riding on the golf cart. When we were indoors, there was plenty of room for my Parents, Sister's family and Brother to gather in the main room or get some personal space in one of the bedrooms watching movies that were available. The house is beautiful and very nicely furnished. We were glad our 3 vehicles could fit in the spacious garage, since the weather was unpredictable. Thanks so much for the hospitality and making our trip to Kentucky Lake for our cousin's wedding a memorable trip!
