Walk in to luxurious lodge furnishings. The living room will comfortably seat you as you watch TV or a movie. Open to the living room, the dining room seats eight or more at the handcrafted red cedar table with matching chairs.

In the fully equipped kitchen, truly a chef’s dream, you will find everything you need to prepare a quick snack or a formal dinner. The specially designed sassafras cabinets hold serving ware, and you can use the side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, gas range, and dishwasher.

The Master Bedroom on the main floor features a King Sized Log Bed with pillow top mattress, walk-in closet with a front-loading washer and dryer for your use, a fireplace, and cable TV. The adjoining Master Bath gives the ultimate luxury of a 2-person whirlpool tub inside its own glass block alcove plus a separate multi-jetted shower for two. As you lie back in the tub, be sure to admire the unique starburst motif engraved into the ceiling.

The glass-encased All Seasons Room holds a 4-person Hot Tub. As you relax in the spa, you can enjoy the view as if you are in the middle of the woods.

The second floor has two bedroom suites. King size log beds, log furniture, walk-in closets, cozy quilts, and private bathrooms complement each room.

The lower level provides bedrooms with King Sized beds and a private bathrooms. A bonus room is also in the lower level and is furnished with two regular sized futon beds for added sleeping space. The Family Room holds plenty of entertainment possibilities with a full size pool table, TV, VCR, and DVD. The large window and door provide a beautiful view of the private wooded ravine.

Outdoors, the covered porches are everyone’s favorite place. Log outdoor furniture, BBQ grill and decks are great for relaxing and watching the wildlife.

This cabin is located close to Nashville, Indiana, Monroe Reservoir, Brown County State Park and Bloomington, Indiana. There is adequate parking for a boat or Motor Home.

Rustic Elegance Lodge Vacation Home is an extraordinary log home located in beautiful Brown County Indiana. This home will impress the most discriminating taste with its richly appointed décor. The craftsmanship of this home goes beyond exquisite. No detail has been left untouched.

Rustic Elegance is a newly constructed log home on 4+ acres. As soon as you arrive, you will see that the front door opens to a southerly panoramic view of scenic Schooner Valley. Lush wooded hills surrounding the other sides create quiet privacy. The copper roof gleams as sunlight filters through the trees.

As soon as you walk up to Rustic Elegance, you will be greeted by Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and the Baby Bears, handcrafted to form one-of-a-kind side doors. Around the porch, you will enter the front doors to see the magnificent floor-to-cathedral-ceiling stone fireplace.

Let me echo what Nan said about our cousin reunion - Rustic Elegance is beautiful inside and out, comfortable, well-equipped, and I can't wait to return whether with my cousins once again, or with my own little family of daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. They'll love hiking through the woods, playing pool, and enjoying the hot-tub. Thanks, Peggy. It was wonderful and just perfect for our first cousin reunion.

Absolutely Loved this Cabin

Everyone in my family absolutely loved the cabin. It was so clean and neat, and trust me cleanliness means a lot! My family kept commenting on how spic and span it was! We had a great time and there was plenty of room for all of us. We loved the big kitchen and made use of both sinks and both coffee pots! The coffee pot idea is great because some of us like strong coffee and some of us like it really weak.

We had the best time, and still can't get over how spotless the place was! Thanks, Peggy, we had a super time. (Our daughter was the valdictorian of the Kelley School of Business this year.) We were so proud of her, and your cabin gave us such a nice backdrop in which to celebrate with cake and goodies and our whole family.
