This townhouse was perfect for our family - including myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters. It was a good size, very clean, a perfect location and I would definitely recommend it and would absolutely stay there again next time we're visiting family in NOLA!!
Awesome Stay! Couldn't ask for a better location. Turn left out of the condo and walk a few blocks and your in the heart of Bourbon Street. Turn right and continue straight and you are at the river walk. The condo was impeccable clean, comfortable and very secure. It was a great place for my husband, myself, and our two college kids to hang out and enjoy all that New Orleans has to offer. I highly recommend this place to anyone and Sherman was so accommodating and easy to work with. Thank you Sherman!!
This townhouse exceeded my expectations. The location was absolutely perfect right in the heart of the quarter, but tucked away from any excessive noise. My friends and I lodged for a "guys weekend" topped off with a game at the Superdome. All of us were able to enjoy the amenities of home and avoid the struggle of cramming into a hotel room.
The only issue I had was the water pressure was very unpredictable. It was virtually impossible at times to take a shower. Other than that, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the space was impeccable. We will definitely stay again when we return to NOLA.
We Really enjoyed this townhouse. It felt like we had a taste of the French Quarter with the exposed brick and beams, but all of the amenities were first class. The home is on a quiet end of the French Quarter, but turn the corner and you are back in the fun. You rarely hear any street noise. I love that it is 3 stories up and you are not at street level. Everything worked well and the washer and dryer came in handy as we were not use to the heat and ended up changing clothes 2 times per day. The beds and furniture felt new. Really a much superior location to stay than any hotel. Lastly, there was about every basic you woul need from condiments to ample fluffy new towels. We even found curling irons!
The only two things I would mention is that we had no idea how to get to the patio described in the listing. We didn't want too, but if you do I don't know how you get there. Second, my daughter eats toast for breakfast every morning, but we could not find a toaster. Granted there was every other appliance. Should we be back to NOLA, this is where we want to be. Caution, 3 flights of stairs to get in and another to get to the bedrooms. Worth it, but may not be good for people with issues walking or very small children.
We stayed at the condo for Jazz Fest this year. Sherman was great - easy to reach and the process to rent was a breeze. The place was clean and fabulously appointed and had all the amenities we needed - laundry and full kitchen. The best part was its central location - a short walk from all the places we like to go in the quarter. We'd definitely rent this property again.
We stayed in this condo for French Quarter Fest 2014 and could not have been more pleased. It's an beautiful renovation of a building filled with character and right in the middle of the French Quarter action! We have a 6 year old and 3.5 year old and I probably wouldn't recommend this property for children much younger than that, if only due to the stairs. But for our kids, it was fine. We were able to walk out the door and right into all the fun of the French Quarter Fest - the Zydeco stage was literally steps away! And you are really well positioned for walking anywhere in the Quarter and seeing all of the sights (and eating all the food!).
We'll definitely come back to NOLA and would love to stay here again. If you want to stay in a beautiful townhome right in the center of French Quarter entertainment, with all the amenities of home, this is a great bet!
