The master bedroom, located upstairs, has a huge walk in closet and office space. The bed is a king and you will feel like one with direct access to the Jacuzzi room and master bath. The three additional bedrooms are located downstairs. One has a king-size bed and fireplace, the second, a queen-size bed, and the third, two twin beds perfect for young children. The house comfortably sleeps 8.

About Amber Kelsey

We fell in love with the valley when honeymooning here over 35 years ago! We built this house with the intention of celebrating life with family and friends in the grandeur of unspoiled wilderness. It has exceeded all expectations!

What makes this house unique

This house enjoys the unique benefit of being situated in one of the most exclusive homesteads in the valley, providing for total anonymity and peace. The Snake River is minutes away, as is the local ski area. In summer, guests can enjoy local hiking trails and day trips into Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. And don't forget about the local rodeo, attracting Wyoming's best!

Second time renting this property and loved it just as much as the first time!

  • 5 of 5

Our family met here for the 2nd time as four of our kids came from the west and we came from the east. It felt like home to all of us! We want to move here but that's not in the cards. This month rental was the next best thing! Saw a bunch of wildlife again... a mother moose with her calf....could have jumped off the back deck onto it's back! Saw an eagle one day and unlike last year, this year we had a fox visit us for a few days and then a great grey owl came by one evening and hung out. Pretty awesome!

It IS a wonderful setting and it's still hard to believe that you can see the Tetons from inside the house from many windows. So convenient to the ski area that you can have lunch back at the house if you want. Also found out that you can drive your car on the back side of the Elk refuge and actually be in the refuge where we saw a few eagles, many antelope and a bunch of Big Horn sheep...all up close and personal! Amazing!!!

We all hope to be able to come again next year! Thank you again for sharing!!!

Great location, close to everything in the area. The cabin was perfect for a winter holiday getaway. I would definitely rent again if we return to Jackson Hole!

Most enjoyable home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed every day of our month at this beautiful cabin which was just as it was described in the pictures and details. I have never seen pictures that more accurately described a home than the pictures of this house did. I loved the upper deck all the way around the house and did many of my walks just circling the house and looking at the beautiful mountains that you can see from each side of the house. For those that love wildlife, as we do, it was fantastic. We had elk, moose, mule deer, and even a bear in the yard. Each morning, the first thing, we would go to the windows to see what was visiting.

I would recommend this house to anyone that wants a unique and comfortable place to stay. Especially nice for families.

We had a great meal at "The Roadhouse" for Mother's Day and The Wort for my birthday while we were there. The shopping was also fun. I like to visit Global Treasures Gift Shop for their unusual gift celection.

This home was wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

This home was wonderful! Every winter, we rent a house in the west for a family rendezvous ski trip and get-together. This year we wanted to ski at Jackson Hole and were delighted that this home was available. It met and exceeded our expectations. Over the past years, I have rented some grand “McMansions”, and our adult children have been asking for something warmer and cozier. This home was just the ticket, and their favorite so far. What a wonderful place for a family gathering! Note: You will see moose in the surrounding area, and one day a moose walked right up the driveway! A real thrill to see. Also, it’s a great location, convenient to everything. Thank you to the owners (not allowed to say their name here) for sharing their special get-away!

Winter getaway

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place to reunite with our kids over the holidays that would remind us of our 10 years at our chalet in the Adirondaks. We found it here and much more! Beautiful views of the Tetons from numerous windows and from the main living area of the second floor you also get a wonderful views of the wildlife around the property. We had a moose in the yard the very first day and then a mule deer with her calf a few days later. We saw a bald eagle while walking along the snake river 10 minutes from the house. Then the last few days a moose returned and stayed around for a day during a snow storm. And finally an eagle flew over the house and parked in a tree next door for a little while.

The house is spacious and well taken care of with all the amenities including a nice gas grill that got used. So convenient to the ski area...only 3 miles. Loved the neighborhood ... Frat for long walks. We're coming back! Don't want to rave too much or there won't be room in the inn! ?. Thanks for sharing!!!

Great Place for the Family!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was the perfect size for use with 6 adults and two children. There was just the right amount of space to spread out when we wanted to but still it felt very comfortable and like home. The kids (and the adults) loved the pool table, the yard, and the pond. The kitchen was perfect for cooking at home when we wanted to.

The house was in a great location for us. Maybe 10 - 15 minutes to Jackson, just 5 minutes from Teton Village, and just a mile or two up the road is the south entrance to Grand Teton National Park. You could not ask for a better spot. The neighborhood is great. The lots are large and really feel like you are secluded (and you are) though the neighbors and the main road are near. We had loads of wildlife come through the yard in the mornings and evenings. We were visited by at least 10 moose to include a mother and two little ones that could not have been more than 2 weeks old. We also had mule deer, elk, and one morning we got to watch two bald eagles play directly over the house for a few minutes. It's a great spot to make day or half day trips out of for all over the valley and beyond.

We really enjoyed staying at the house and it was actually difficult to leave. Even after 3+ weeks we were not ready to go. The Kelsey's and Joanna were gracious hosts and the whole experience (we started planning a year out) could not have been easier or more pleasant.

Can't wait to come back again!
