Imagine driving down a wooded drive to a secluded, pine-shrouded cabin on a low bluff. The amazing view immediately catches your attention as you look across the Lake... Partridge Lake. Its a Holiday, however, there are only two boats out... one is fishing for Bass and another is pulling a water skier.

You walk through the cabin door into a knotty-pine, 4-season porch with a large, log dining table perfect for dining or playing cards. You keep going into the main great room with a 22' high vault and glass on the entire lakeside of the room. Again, the view is perfect as you settle onto the couch. The open layout of this space is perfect for cooking while you enjoy family and friends.

You walk down to the lake where you see a 20' 2004 pontoon (for your use) and a nice-sized deck at the shoreline. You also see a sandy area for kids to play in the water.

Before you depart on your first pontoon ride, you set the Sauna timer to start warming, so that when you return it all set for you and several others.

When it's time for bed and you can either have total privacy in one of the queen-sized beds in the back bedrooms... or climb the stairs to sleep in one of the two queens in a large loft.

Wake up early to see the sun rise across the bay or sleep in as late as you like... it is very quiet on this 2 acre Getaway.

However... I warn you... you may not want to leave!

About The Owner

I am in the Software industry and live with my family in Maple Grove, Minnesota... only 90 minutes from 'The Cabin'. This is my getaway and would like to share it with you.

The Owner purchased this lodge in 1996

Only 90 minutes from the Cites... I immediately fell in love with the property in ...and built in 1996.

What makes this lodge unique

You can spend quality-time doing exactly what you want with no outside interruptions or competition for the Lake. It's like having your own private Lake.

Let's just say I fell in love with the place, it is absolutely perfect, there is not one thing I would change about the place. Everything is neat and clean, not so much as a scratch anywhere. I would love to
build a cabin just like this one someday. I hope to stay there again sometime, I didn't want to leave,
it was so much fun.

Had the opportunity to stay at the cabin over this past weekend and it couldn't have been a nicer, well appointed, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The owner spared no expense with every amenity you would want as well as making the place comfortable, like it was your own. I HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely be staying here again in other seasons as well.

"The Getaway" is more amazing than the pictures could ever reflect. Most places you see on the Internet have wonderful pictures but don't live up to the pictures, this place far exceeds that. Jason meet us the first day and showed us around giving plenty of tips about the area and which bait shops to visit. We had a blast fishing/ swimming from his pontoon, sitting by the fire at night with wood he provided, the neighbors were also amazing (invited us over to sit around their fire), there is also a blad eagle that come over to one of his trees on a regulare basis. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting an amazing week in a wonderful cabin!! I will definitely be renting this cabin again in the future. Thanks for everything Jason, "The Getaway" was great!!!

Our family of four was lucky enough to stay at The Getaway for a week. We enjoyed the beautiful view, the clean property, and some relaxation. It is a short drive from the Twin Cities - just far enough to be a vacation!! Many fun things to do at the property and around the area. We enjoyed horseshoes, the docks, playing board games, campfires............ very relaxing and peaceful. It was a pleasure to stay here and the owner is VERY nice :)
