The best way to see Seville
Our family of 8 has used VRBO properties 9 or 10 times during our travels. This home is one of our favorites. The photos and description are accurate and the place was very clean and welcoming upon our arrival. The kitchen and bathrooms appear newly renovated and have beautiful tile and counters. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cutlery, cookware, blankets, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. There is a very helpful collection of travel books, tons of DVDs (kids and grow ups), and a bucket of toys which kept our toddler very happy. The entryway / foyer is perfect for organizing the constant comings and goings of a large group with plenty of room for shoes, and hooks for coats, handbags, and umbrellas (we were very happy to see these since we had one rainy day). Most noticeable though was the tremendous hospitality of our hosts. We arrived 7 hours after our expected time, nearly midnight, and Mark was nothing but gracious and sympathetic with us. He went as far as to bring food, concerned that the children might have been hungry on arrival. He drove with my husband to park the car in a nearby garage and then back to the house (you definitely do NOT need a car), he had a map marked with all sorts of useful info that he went over with us before bidding us good night. It is easy to walk to everything: grocery stores, restaurants (dozens of them), the cathedral, shoe stores, hair salons, pharmacy, gift shops, etc. The street is so, so quiet (we had friends traveling with us and staying across from the Cathedral who were unhappy with all the early AM noise at their place) and this is by far the easiest city ever to get a cab, a one minute walk to the corner and you'll find several driving by, and not once did any of them complain about taking us short distances - easy , easy, easy and cheap. Seville is a fantastic city, we are already talking about a return trip next year, and we'll be hoping this place is available again.
