If you are looking for a home away from home, FineView is it!!!!! Our 4200 square foot home is fully furnished and made for your relaxation featuring 5 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 double beds and 9 twin beds), 3 full bathrooms and 3-½ bathrooms, living rooms, family room with a stone gas fireplace, dining room and a kitchen with many of the amenities you are accustomed to. Wake up to beautiful sunrises and enjoy 175 feet of level walk-in beach lake frontage. There is plenty of room for family and friends to play around on the large lawn, beach, and patio areas. Our dock offers a place to park your boat and the public boat launch in Penn Yan (a few short miles away!) provides a platform to launch it. If you want to relax at the house and still enjoy the lake, take a seat on one of the rocking chairs and enjoy the view from our spacious porch. Finish off your day with a camp fire and fall asleep in one of the large bedrooms to the gentle breaking of wave’s right outside of your window.

FineView is nestled in the Keuka Lake Wine Country and is close to wonderful shops, wineries, museums and restaurants. The charming Windmill market, originally an Amish trading center, operates every Saturday morning in the summer months where you will find the freshest produce, cultivated and wild flowers, handmade furniture, delicious homemade pies and other delicacies.

Keuka Lake (known as the'Y' lake) is the cleanest Finger Lake... great for fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and water skiing. There are several marinas around the lake and motor boats may be rented by the day or week and tied up to the dock.

About Julie Dix

Ed and Julie grew up in the Elmira area and then moved to Massachusetts after completing their education. Now the proud parents of three great kids - we decided as a family that owning our own place on Keuka Lake was a dream come true.

Four couples that have been friends for years really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The living room, dining room and porch were perfect for us to gather and relax. The kitchen had ample dishes, glassware and cooking utensils that made preparing meals easy and fun.
There were ample bathrooms and sleeping accomodations were super for the couple in the master suite and okay for the two couples in the rooms with double beds and the couple in the bunkhouse.
The view of the lake was spectacular. and there was ample, easy parking.
The house wasn't cleaned well, but not sufficiently dirty to warrant calling the owners to alert them. The floors in two bathrooms were dirty and the refrigerator had not been wiped out.
We had a delicious lunch at Bully Hill Winery and a great walk at Watkins Glenn Gorge.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Beautiful home!

As a family, we have been vacationing at Keuka lake for almost 20 years. Fine View is the most beautiful house we have rented at the lake. As our family has grown through the years, we needed a bigger place. Fine View met all our needs and desires. The location is perfect, with a wide lake front access, and plenty of room for the children to play in the yard and on the beach. We loved the fire pit and all the seating provided. The two docks are perfect. One for docking our boat and one for play. The house is beautiful. It is so spacious we never felt crowded. The kids loved the chalk wall. I loved our bedroom suite and the large cheerful living room over looking the lake. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We hope we can get everyone together next year for another stay at Fine View.

Raising a glass to this cottage

Awesome cottage for a large family to vacation at, plenty of room and amenities are second to non. They have though of everything to make their guests comfortable. The chalk wall was fun for the family to play with for the week. Both young and older were not wanting our time to end. Highly recommend this cottage if you are looking to fish, swim, boat, relax, play lawn games, have family meals together or enjoy outings to the small quaint towns near by or the local wineries.

This home exceeded the listing description. It was beautifully decorated and it was fully furnished with everything we needed (and more). We thoroughly enjoyed our week. We would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity.

We had a wonderful week at "FIneview" and the name and the pictures didn't even begin to describe how nice this house was. The Dix's were a pleasure to deal with and the location is the best on the lake. The beach, yard and porch was a big hit and the two bedrooms of bunk beds wasa hit with the kids.
