About BERNIE WIELAND & DEE PHELPS

Dee Phelps came to Summit County in 1997, having fallen in love with Breckenridge in 1984. After extricating herself from Florida (where she was an attorney and where she and her late husband, Glen, syndicated shopping center sites & invested in real estate), Dee purchased her first Breckenridge home sight unseen. This great home became her first Breckenridge home & short term rental property. Dee had such a great response to her hospitality business that she purchased several other luxury properties in Breckenridge.

Dee met Bernie Wieland in Breckenridge, Bernie moving from the Nashville, TN area, where he was CEO of a steel manufacturing company. He purchased his first Breckenridge property in 2000. Both Dee and Bernie had, independently, traveled to most of the towns in Colorado and both had decided, several years apart, that Breckenridge was the perfect place to live and to play in the mountains. Bernie and Dee have extensive business backgrounds, Bernie as an executive in the steel and manufacturing automation businesses and Dee creating and selling two successful businesses in Florida and Arizona and investing in real estate since her twenties.

Dee and Bernie spare no expense in creating a warm mountain atmosphere in their several homes and condos, all of which have good access to ski lifts, hiking & biking trails and to downtown Breckenridge. They make every effort to provide a memorable mountain vacation experience for their guests.

FANTASTIC CONDO IN BRECK!!!

This condo is everything they describe and more - we could not have been more pleased! Let's start with the location. It is truly just steps to the Maggie for a coffee in the morning with a few more steps out to the lift. Ski school sign up is just across the way and you can truly watch your little ones from the condo itself. We enjoyed watching all the kids, even when ours were not in class. There are restaurants right in the complex with several within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed our Mexican meal at Mi Casa and Breckenridge Brewery&Pub is as great as it was 22yrs ago(last time I was in Breck!). While we took the car into the center of Breckenridge a couple of times, we also walked and it is a very easy and pleasant stroll to all the shops and restaurants. There are two grocery stores nearby and easy to get to. The condo itself is very cozy and has everything and anything you could want for your stay. The kitchen is functional and well equipped. We cooked in several times, which is a pleasure after a long day when you don't want to go back out. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of linens. The floor plan is well laid out and the furnishings are super. My daughters LOVED the wood carved bear which stands to greet you as you enter the living room! We had a fire in the fireplace each evening we were in. The unit comes stocked with plenty of firewood and it really adds charm on a cold winter night. It was also fun in the evening to watch the snow cats grooming the trails for the next day. Everyone we encountered at the ski resort, shops, restaurants, etc were friendly and helpful. Top notch customer service all around. While there are ski rental shops closer than the recommended Main St Sports, I would not go anywhere else. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They worked hard to ensure each of us was fitted well and had the type equipment best suited to our needs. They had us in and out of the shop as quickly as possible. The pool and hot tubs are great and we loved sitting outside in the beautiful surroundings and fantastic views. Dee and Bernie were absolutely fantastic to work with. They are very knowledgeable and responsive to all questions on the front end and provided lots of info for our stay. They even provide cell phone numbers in case of problem, which there were none. Whenever we get back to Breck (which we will!) we will definitely look to stay here again. I didn't see anything that would beat it!

Happy wife, Happy Life

My wife is picky. Picky to a fault. She was beyond impressed with this condo. The owners/managers were incredible. On top of everything, and didn't leave any details out. He even told us exactly where the closest medical clinic was with out my wife even having to ask. Which made her feel a lot better. Ended up coming in handy, our son broke a slight fever, teething nothing massive. But, my wife felt better knowing where we had to go should the Motrin not work. The condo had everything we needed, everything we wanted, and more. We were in town to do a little house hunting and to see my orthopedic surgeon. We were in town 3 nights. The condo was clean and modern. My son who is just over a year old loved to run around and look at the mountain. I enjoyed the grill on the deck and the great location. Plus we didn't have to run around and move a ton of stuff when we got there to keep him safe. My wife stresses when we rent places online, she's never sure what were going to get, and we've had some doozies. This place was a huge hit. She didn't have one complaint. Literally not one. This never happens. Not even when we stay at 5 star resorts. Parking was great, covered garage. We've stayed at a lot of places in brick, and this one is the best by far. Hopefully we find a house we love up here soon, but until then this will be our first choice. (and my wife's only choice)

AMAZING, in an understatement.

This condo is perfect. Talk about location! It's literally steps away from EVERYTHING you could possibly want.

LOCATION: Second to none. You are literally the heart of EVERYTHING Breckenridge has to offer. There is a grocery store just a few blocks away, & with the newly updated & fully stocked kitchen staying in a making a relaxing meals or snacks in super easy! After a long drive up and an overly tired toddler we opted to cook our first night. We went to the grocery store grabbed some steaks & grilled on the balcony. You couldn't ask for a better view. You are literally ON THE MOUNTAIN. The view is breathtaking. If cooking isn't your thing there are several fabulous restaurants and bars literally outside your door.

THE BUILDING-The condo building itself is VERY clean & VERY secure. It has a beautiful entry with large sofas, a fireplace, there is also an amazing little kids area off to the side. It's just perfect. There are several amenities in this building. Ample hot tubs, a large pool, an amazing fitness room, the list goes on. The hallways are fresh and clean, no lingering unpleasant oder.

PARKING- parking garage kept our car safe and hassle free. We have a large SUV (Tahoe) and had no trouble parking. There is an elevator very close to the spaces & you must have a "room key" to get into the elevator room, it's very secure. I felt completely safe.

THE CONDO ITSELF- WOW. The furnishings & bedding are perfect. Everything is fresh and up to date. You just feel like you are "home" when you walk in the door...only home is now perfectly perched at the base of an amazing mountain with billion dollar views! The master bedroom is perfect. Large king bed with soft linens, very large closet, and dresser. There is also a large TV & very up to date en-suite bathroom w/ a ton of storage! Bright shower/tub combo, soft towels, great lighting. I am an "overpacker" to say the least & I STILL had plenty of room. The second bathroom has a day bed and a full size bed. Perfect for kids. The kitchen is very modern and very well stocked. Cooking in this kitchen is easy and clean up is simple with the full size dishwasher.

About US- Hubby, Wife (me) 16 month old, we stayed in July and WILL be back this winter! I can't wait to come back and watch my little guy in sky school! Ski school happens to literally be right outside the door! The best perk...IT WAS SUPER EASY TO KID PROOF! I literally just popped in some outlet covers and boom! FamilyReady!

Extremely nice condo!

The owners were very professional, great to work with, and made the entire process easy. The condo is in a great location in Breck. It is stocked with everything needed to enjoy your stay. We were only there for two nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely try to stay at this condo for any future trips to Breckenridge.

Highly recommend!!! The condo and its wonderful owners were a delight from start to finish. Great location and perfect views. A kitchen with pretty much anything you need to cook and entertain made hosting Easter dinner with extended family that much more pleasurable. One guest commented that if his condo and view were as nice as the one we were in, he would be tempted to stay off the skis and sit on the balcony all day taking in this piece of heaven. Plenty of DVD titles to chose from if you want to relax at night with a movie. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The only downside....there were only three of us staying in the condo to enjoy the accomodations. We look forward to hopefully staying here again but will definitely bring some friends to help enjoy everything this has to offer. Thanks!!!

Great Condo

We spent a week here having travelled from the UK. The accommodation was of the highest quality and was furnished to a very high standard. Great living space providing excellent comfort. Importantly looked out on to the slopes and was metres away from the lift system. Greta location and would thoroughly recommend it to other families.
