Home is located in sought after neighborhood of Croatan. Aprx 1 mile south of Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort area. Just a block to the Ocean in Croatan or short bike or car ride to the Oceanfront Boardwalk. Enjoy the many decks for relaxing, sunbathing and cooking out.

This lovely home is open, bright and airy.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from Golfing, Waterpark, and the Marine Science Museum.

Virginia Aquarium: The Virginia Aquarium is spectacular and so close!

Spacious and Generous Amenities, Good Location

Lots of room for our group of 8 in this house. We felt at home with the spacious den which doubled as a play area for the kids. Lots of room around the table, which we enjoyed. We found plenty of dishes and silverware in the kitchen, plus cutlery and pots and pans that made it easy to cook meals. The house is tastefully decorated, bright and cheery - like a home instead of the all too common over-the-top beach theme meets craft bazar. The neighborhood is a pleasant place to take a walk around or be at the beach (block away). One star deduction because there wasn't good heating to the bunk bed bedroom (we stayed here in Dec with lows in the 40s); this is understandable being a converted garage, and a space heater was all that was needed. For the price and other amenities, this is easily overlooked. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Fabulous Family Beach Home!!!

My wife and I just returned home from spending a week at this property with our kids and our parents. The house is in great condition, well-appointed and very comfortable. It was our first stay in Croatan, and we were impressed. The neighborhood is secluded yet convenient to all of the amenities the Virginia Beach area has to offer. We definitely intend to go back.

The property is only 1 1/2 blocks from the nearest beach access. The beach is guarded by the Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service, which is reassuring for parents with young children. In fact, there is a lifeguard stand just a few yards from the nearest beach access point. A lot of the homes in the neighborhood are owner-occupied, so the beach is not crowded at all.

There are a number of "extras" provided by the owner, such as bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart, etc. The owner provides great customer service, is very responsive to requests for information, and provides a lot of helpful hints about the local area. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and any other family looking to stay a week at Virginia Beach.
