4BR/3BA NEAR TIGERTAIL BEACH,PRIVATE TENNIS COURT, BOCCE

This house was wonderful! Everything was as good as listed, or even better. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived, including a vase of bird of paradise flowers on the front table. The owners called to welcome us when we arrived, checked during our 2 week stay to see if we had questions, and called at the end to say goodbye. There were clear directions with all appliances and electronics, and there was even a DVR to record TV shows. Our 8 family members ranged in age from 4 to 58 all enjoyed the pool and hot tub, tennis court, bocci ball court and even shuffleboard. There were floats for the pool and plenty of comfortable chairs. We loved eating our meals outside, and even used some basil growing by the pool as a fresh seasoning. The house location is wonderful, near restaurants and grocery stores. This was a fabulous home away from home for a great vacation.

This beautifully decorated and clean home was PERFECT for our group of 10! We enjoyed absolutely every amenity, from the lanai covered pool, the tennis courts, to the spacous rooms (the Master Suite is amazing). The home is located about 3 blocks from the public parking at TigerTail Beach (about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive; parking $8/car/day). There is a group of burrowing owls that live on the corner, that are always there to greet you as you make the short walk to the beach. Don't miss the many mango trees that line the path (there is even one lady who will sell you tree-ripened mangoes from her tree). Once you have one, you'll never want to buy another from the grocery store! There is a tidal basin you must walk across to reach the actual beach, but it wasn't too bad. About hip deep during regular tide (around chest deep at high tide). You can walk around, but plan on about 30 minute walk if you choose that method. If you walk thru the tidal basin, at sunset, don't miss the thousands of small crabs that line your path. They are amazing! Take your water shoes, as the beach is made up of crushed shells (hard on the bare feet).This home is beautiful and we will definitely return! Had a fabulous time and loved the proximity to the grocery store, beach, and other things Marco offers!

This was the first time we've ever rented a house for a vacation, and the bar has been set extremely high for any subsequent rentals in the future!! :-)

The owners have written an extremely accurate description of their home, including their beautiful photos, but what they didn't share is the immediate feeling of "Ahhhhhh.... paradise!!" that immediately hits each person as they enter through the front door. Anything we needed was available to us, including bikes and beach equipment, and having the gorgeous pool and our own private sports complex in the backyard was a true joy, as would be attested by the 18-, 20-, and 21-year-olds who were with us.

Aside from the amazing home and its amenities, the owners were WONDERFUL to work with....very helpful and quick to answer our emails. They researched flight options for us before we even booked the week with them, they called us after we arrived to ensure that everything was okay, and they emailed us at the end of the week to see how our time there had been and to wish us a safe trip back home.

Would we recommend this property to friends or relatives? IN A HEARTBEAT!! And if we ever get the opportunity to go back to Marco Island, you can bet that we'll be checking to see if this incredible home is available for rent again. I've already thanked the owners for allowing us to share their piece of paradise, but I could do it again and again... what an incredible week!! :-)
