Beautiful beach cottage is one home back from Whitesands Beach / La' aloa State Park on a quiet cul-de-sac, a 30 second walk to the beach. 5-7 minute drive to downtown Kailua-Kona, two minutes drive to Keauhou shopping center & Movie Theatres, also close drive to Kahalu'u Snorkel Beach. You are also about a block's walk away from the famous 'mile marker 4' scuba dive spot for experienced divers and the grassy pahoehoe park where picnics, yoga, and hula lessons take place.

First bedroom has Queen, second bedrooms has King Size bed, plus two twin day beds in the family room. Extra floor futons available for kids. Nice Country Kitchen with dining area opens up into large central living area.

Located on a private, secluded garden lane, yet minutes to town and shopping.

You are one home back from Whitesands Beach Park, a block to Pahoehoe Park, a block to famous mile marker 4 scuba dive spot, and a short drive to other beaches like Kahalu'u Snorkel Beach, town, and Keauhou Shopping Center. The cottage has a gated driveway and is on a private road one street back from Ali'i Drive (the main thoroughfare). You thus have a great combination of beach access by foot, many other things close by car.

Must Be Best House in Kona!

Fantastic! Airy, clean, roomy and comfortable. Well-stocked for fun and self-catering. Super close to beach but in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic noise. The kids loved the boogie boarding at the beach! We loved the convenient location to great snorkeling and all points on the Kona side. Also, the many song-birds and lovely landscaping all around the house. Will definitely come again someday and recommend to friends. Mahalo! - Linda R., Woodinville, WA, July 2011

We really, really enjoyed our stay

The per night rate was way better than booking hotel rooms. Supplies were spot on, we never lacked for anything. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and this is by far the best stocked we've ever experienced. Response was quick as in when we reported the coffeemaker wasn't working, another one was delivered before the end of the day! Things such as this make us definitely want to return. We really, really enjoyed our stay, and will be recommending Coconut Cottage to all our friends and will be sure to return. Mahalo! -- Masu, Oceanside CA, June 2011
