Authentic log construction with large interior timbers giving rustic appeal. Well appointed country kitchen and large beds in the private bedrooms add to make this home a comfortable stay.

New stainless refrigerator, microwave oven, HE stackable washer & dryer and countertops installed in July 2011. Second full size refrigerator in Bunk House is available for additional food storage. Ceiling fan installed over loft beds adds to this property’s comforts.

My husband and I have now rented this house 3 times with another upcoming trip planned this fall. We are big fans of fall foliage, hiking, nature and winter getaways. This rental fits everything we look for in a lake/mountain vacation. In the fall we were still able to use the outside house amenities (kayaks, canoes, fire pit, hiking the property, fishing, etc) along with taking nice day trips hiking or shopping up in North Conway. We also rented it for New Years a few years ago to experience a beautiful winter wonderland. It truly is a picturesque place w/ the log cabin, exposed beams and roaring fire. The long driveway is perfect for snowshoeing! It is so beautiful and serene in the winter.

The house itself has always been spotless and well appointed for cooking. We also love that we can invite a few friends up for the day from Boston and there's plenty of space for them to stay over if need be. The loft is a great size and has quite a few beds in it for extra people. It's a great house for vacationing with another couple or two.

This house truly feels like a home away from home, and we plan to have it be one of our mainstay vacation spots.

Best Summer Vactions Ever!

My family and I have wonderful memories of summer vacations at this Ossipee Lake house. We have rented places all over New England, from Maine to Martha's Vineyard but nothing beats this house. The lake isn't very deep, which is perfect for kids swimming but deep enough for the adults to enjoy too. Whether we are swimming, grilling, kayaking or just lounging in the hammock, the panoramic view of the white mountains as a background adds an extra element of beauty and tranquility. While there's nothing better than a summer vacation by the lake, we also rented the house for a ski weekend getaway, which was one of the highlights of the snowy winter of 2010 for our kids. This a truly amazing home and I promise you will be blown away when you see it!
