Lovely historic home with lots of grace and charm. One block from the beach, across from the University of Southern Mississippi at Gulf Park, home of the Friendship Oak. This home sits on a large tree filled lot with plenty of privacy, just minutes away from shopping and gaming in Biloxi and Gulfport and one hour away from the French Quarter in New Orleans. Unbeatable value for those looking for a quiet vacation away from the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches.

Three bedrooms, all upstairs, furnished with comfortable queen beds and two twins in third bedroom. A lovely Sunroom makes a place to enjoy early morning coffee or quiet afternoon reading. There is a futon in the Sunroom can be folded out to use as additional sleeping, or if you need even more sleeping area, we can arrange to have an 'off the floor air bed' placed in the Sunroom.

The large inviting deck can accommodate grilling, eating or just relaxing.

On site attendant will be available for easy check in. Shuttle services can be arranged for transportation to and from shopping and casinos. Chartered fishing trips also available.

This home has been in our family for 75+ years. We have spent many happy times in this home and have lots of good memories. We recently decided to share the unique charm of this house. The house has been almost completely restored and we will continue making upgrades. We hope you come to love it as much as we do and return often to enjoy to quiet slow pace of Long Beach, truly a jewel of the Gulf Coast.

About Robin Hewes Rasmussen

This house has been in my family for almost 80 years. My parents grew up in Long Beach and moved to Tennessee after they married. My husband and I live in Holly Springs, MS and love to come to the coast to relax. Our family has a long history on the coast. I still have lots of cousins who live on the coast full time. My sister refers to this house as her 'happy place.' We'd love for you to come for a visit.

The atmosphere and location of your home was as close to being at home as it could be. Warm, quiet, mornings on the deck and dinners in the evenings, allowed us to share many family memories. The home invited us into it, as we imagined how the families lived in simple luxury, as the times have changed this house has stood strong. Close to the beach, shopping, entertainment, wildlife on the property and a little farm life made staying there more grand. The best of the old and the new.
Absolutely prefect owners and hostess. We will be back, we loved this house.

Wonderful Weekend Away!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beach house. It was a very exciting adventure for the kids. This was the first time they had ever been to the beach. They had a blast playing in the water and sand. My wife is very intrigued by the house and curious about its history like why parts are the original and what has been added and when.

Anyway it was a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for the escape.

Great time on the MS gulf

We all had a great time in Long Beach. the house was very comfortable and clean.

You, MIke and Tammy were very hospitable and provided good information on things to do in the local area. All in all a seemless rental.

The train is close but after the first night we hardly noticed it, Dad is a retired railroader and he just smiled everytime the crossing chimes started up.

Loved the House

We absolutely loved the house in Long Beach. Everyone had a great time and we are dying to go back, maybe sometime when there is better beach weather. We were all so impressed by the place and the entire area. My girls were giddy when they saw the house and my brother-in-law was truly impressed and has been talking about it ever since we came back.
