I loved my stay (one month in January 2012). Fantastic, helpful, friendly hosts. The place itself was perfectly secure and outfitted with everything anyone might imagining needing, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a skateboard if you are feeling suicidal.
I would highly recommend this location. Book with supreme confidence.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My wife and I stayed at two properties by this owner, each for two weeks, and were completely happy with both. This bungalow is clean with modern and simple design elements. The kitchen was recently renovated and all the furniture and fixtures were clean and comfortable. The master bedroom and living room were both very large, and with the high ceilings the bungalow felt very spacious for a one bedroom. The owner is very friendly and was all too willing to help us plan our day trips or offer up a long board for a cruise on the beach. The bungalow is about a 5 minute walk to the trendy part of Abbott Kinney, which has great shopping, restaurants and local coffee shops. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away, but not to this bungalow’s disadvantage. This location was more relaxed, quiet and felt very safe compared to closer to the beach. I’ve stayed at many many many hotel rooms, and we strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cool hip spot in Venice or LA.
