Why the Owner Chose Montgomery Estates: We chose a cabin that was within walking distance to the solitude of the forest over a place that had the high foot traffic near the beach. We enjoy the sounds of the wildlife over the hustle and bustle of people scrambling to get to the beach. We enjoy having hiking trails out our back door and don’t mind the five-minute drive to one of the most beautiful lakes in the country, and we hope you’ll agree.

We are a couple living in the SF Bay Area that wanted a little get away home that we could travel to in a reasonable amount of time. We wanted a place to enjoy that has outdoor activities that fit with our active lifestyle and Tahoe offered everything that we wanted.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin: Serenity with a private sled run out the back door in the winter. You can get to two streams within a short 20 minute hike. Power Line Trail with hours of hiking paths.

My name is Carina McConaughey, I am committed to providing exceptionally clean and comfortable properties to the Tahoe visitor. I am the property manager and I live in the same neighborhood, I have lived in Tahoe for 37 years and have loads of information, and connections with ski shops, boat rentals, and best restaurant advice, plus I love Tahoe, and hope our guests will love it as much as we do, we try to see to it that you'll enjoy the property and the town.

This property is in a very nice quiet neighborhood, the national forest is across the street, next door is an empty lot and hosts a wonderful sledding hill for kids, and adults alike.

The home itself is beautifully maintained and has luxury linens and all the amenities you could think of plus beautiful kitchen ware.

What makes this cabin unique

If traveling with pets or kids, I have pet sitting and babysitting available at very affordable rates, for those special outings, boating, or evening shows where kids and pets can't participate.

We love coming to this cabin! It borders national forest land so we get great hikes and views of the lake. We snow shoe and hike right from the cabin. The cabin is well stocked and super comfortable. The kids sled right next to the cabin. We are able to get to the stores in minutes.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

In the pictures it looks nice but when you get there it is beautiful!!! It has everything you can need and more. My family had a great time and is excited to go back and stay there again.

Thanks very much for the prompt deposit refund. Your cabin was just great - I particularly liked the well-stocked kitchen. (LOVE the Fiesta Ware.) It was very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our stay.
