CHARMING NEWLY RENOVATED HOME WITH SPECTACULAR MOUNTAIN VIEWS

Last autumn we decided to organise a skiing holiday in New Hampshire and we decided to make our base Mount Cranmore. We found Mike & Julie's house on the HomeAway site, all of their correspondence was clear and helpful and our experience started from there.

The house was perfect for the four of us. Everything we wanted from it was there. It was warm, clean and welcoming from the minute we arrived after our long journey from England.

The pictures of the house do not do it justice, both inside and out. The house is situated in amongst mature trees on the hillside about five minutes from the centre of North Conway and the setting is stunning. The description of the house was very accurate and if we needed any help Julie was always at the end of the telephone. Everything was in good condition and well maintained. The beds were especially comfortable, we slept well every night after our days on the slopes.

We chose to eat out mainly and spoil ourselves but everything was at the house if we wanted to stay in. It was truly a home from home. The restaurants in town that we used were fantastic and we would recommend every one we ate at especially Peach's for breakfast and May Kelly's & Delaney's Hole In The Wall for dinner.

We really enjoyed exploring the town as a whole, the quirky shops on the main road through the centre of town and the Settler's Green on the outskirts of town where we found some great bargains.

The highlight was skiing at Mount Cranmore and the amazing experience of witnessing a true nor'easter. Winter storm "Nemo" hit while we were in North Conway and dropped about 21 inches of snow on us in a little over 24 hours. This disrupted our return journey home but yet again Mike & Julie came to the rescue and their hospitality was absolutely second to none. They looked after us whilst we rearranged our flights and made sure that the experience of the storm only added to our holiday an left us with the best memories of North Conway.

We would recommend Mike & Julie's house to anyone and we will definitely return.

Thank you so much to Mike and Julie and their gorgeous home. The 6 of us really enjoyed our stay at this cute but spacious home. The property was very clean and well maintained, plenty of towels, linens, board games and kitchen appliances for use.

I loved that this house was located just about 2 miles from the center of town, so we didn't have to deal with much traffic of North Conway, it was a very peaceful location, but also so close to town if we needed anything.

The pictures don't do this house justice - it was so amazing with terriffic views. I would highly recommend this property to a friend, relative and even a stranger. We will be returning again next year to this same property. Thank You Mike and Julie - you were a pleasure to work with and your rental house is wonderful.

This was a wonderful vacation home. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable with lots of windows and skylights. There were gorgeous views of the mountain range from the kitchen dining area and deck. Julie provided lots of good tips and made us feel like welcome guests. The location was near town but also private and accessible via the North-South road. It helped us avoid the traffic on the main thoroughfare, but at the same time got us quickly to the outlets, and downtown North Conway.

There is a lot to do in the immediate area, and surrounding towns. We especially enjoyed breakfast at Peaches in downtown North Conway, and the White Lake State Park, around 15 miles South on Route 16. It has a beautiful, sandy beach with a nice hiking trail around the lake. We went kayaking for the first time ever, which we rented from the park. They also offer canoes and paddle boats, and have a small concession stand. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the loons on the lake.

We had a really nice stay at Mike and Julie's home, and are very glad we chose to stay here. Hope we can return next year!
