‘Aspen Grove' is a beautiful luxury mountain home, professionally decorated, and fully appointed. Nestled in one of the few magical groves of Aspen trees found in Angel Fire, it backs up to an expansive green belt, which is a wilderness playground for elk and deer. The house boasts 4 fireboxes which gives it state of the art warmth with a nostalgic air and one fireplace for atmosphere in LR (plus central heat). ‘Aspen Grove’ sleeps 10 people comfortably - with two master bedrooms (one with a king bed, and one with a queen), and a spacious ‘bunk room’ which sleeps 6. All three bedrooms have a large separate bath. There’s a large kitchen which has everything you need, with all new appliances and seating for 10. This is the perfect home for gatherings of families and friends, where everyone has their own separate space. It has a heated 2 ½ car garage, on well maintained roads, with no step inclines.

About Kathleen

We have been frequenting Angel Fire for the past 20 years. Being from Texas, whether escaping the summer heat, or discovering the winter snow this has always been our favorite destination! We have 4 kids, and value family time together. Hiking and skiing in the gorgeous mountains there, have given us some of our most precious memories as our children have been growing up. In 2010, after being disappointed with a few places that we paid to stay, we decided to buy our own home in Angel Fire. A place bright and beautiful, warm and cozy, large and well appointed that we could bring our friends and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. This home is also every convenient and on level well maintained roads (unlike many homes in the mountains). Please come and and enjoy a fabulous vacation at Aspen grove!

We absolutely Loved the house and the location. A lot of wildlife to see and by far the most beautiful of all the years we have been up to Angel Fire. I would rate this excellent but we had a hard time with the temperature in the house. The upstairs stayed really hot, compared to the downstairs. The heaters downstairs did not heat up the bedroom sufficiently. We did have the pipes freeze the last night we were there, but when the temperature was -25 below zero....I guess that is to be expected. A lovely house, loved the extra bathrooms.. will return!

This home was a delightful place to relax and also a home base for seeing the many local attractions. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away to a peaceful place to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Great Summer Area

The Angel Fire area was great for our family of 4. We were able to horseback ride, ride four-wheelers, take a trip to Taos, lots of hiking, paddleboating and we rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain. It was a great summer trip away from the Texas heat. The home had everything we needed to prepare food and live comfortably. The beds were amazingly soft and there was plenty of room to relax inside or out and some games and toys for the kids.

My family of 5, and our friends family of 5, with a total of 10 people stayed over New Years. It was the perfect place to stay- plenty of room, and a great location. We loved the amenities and the decorating!! The price divided between the two families made it very affordable too- cheaper than staying at a LaQuinta for the week and a million times nicer !
