Welcome to our great 'Lakescape'. This four season home offers exceptional panoramic views from most areas inside as well as outside on it's wrap around deck and expansive 500 feet of lake-shore.

Take a break and 'escape' todays fast paced lifestyle or if you're like some of our lovable adventure seeking family members you can boat, ski, golf, hike, hunt, fish, explore caves and/or casinos.The Lakescape offers family friendly frontage that kids and adults are sure to enjoy with a spacious yard, deck and dock for outdoor fun. Location on a near point lot and idle zone of the lake keeps both street and lake traffic at a minimum. While there are many local attractions and overall recreational opportunities to enjoy, it is the amazing views of soaring bald eagles, blue herons and giggling kids swimming off the dock that we have loved the most about this property. From swimming to fishing to evening campfires, this cozy lake-house is one you'll want to escape to again and again.

    No smoking (inside) and No pets.
    We accept Paypal/ checks/ money orders ( checks and E checks through Paypal must clear banks first) and credit cards.
    One half the total rental fee including the 200 reservation/damage fee confirms the booking.
    200 reservation/damage fee will be refunded within 14 days of departure after inspection.

Oh my gosh this place is awesome!! My whole family with all my sibling and parents we were all there together. We went skiing at Paolia Peaks which is very nice but we all said we could just stay at the lake house and not go anywhere. So much room and it was very clean. They had all kinds of movies and games you don't have to bring anything they have it all. They have an upstairs with a loft that has a Tv that was perfect for the kids .. We have all talked and we want to make this an annual thing or maybe just a place we can all come together and spend time relaxing . We are now trying to come this summer and use the outside. Since it was winter we didn't get to go outside but did they have an awesome huge deck and so much more stuff outside. Love it and would tell anyone to please you need to come to the Lake house!!!

Our group had a great time at the lake house. We were so impressed and happy with the service provided by the owners, as well as the hosue having everything that is needed for your stay. We wished we had been able to stay longer. The only downside was that having Sprint we didn't have any cell phone service in the area (only when we were actually in French Lick) and we didn't realize the distance to French Lick. The 30 minute drive didn't bother anyone though, and the privacy and view that you have at the house is more than worth a 30 minute drive.
We are already looking forward to being able to plan our next trip with our children during the summer when we can better enjoy the outdoors.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the lake home. It was charming, welcoming and the owners provide practically everything you would need for the stay. It is extremely easy to just come in and make yourself at home. The only downside was that we didn't realize the location and the distance from French Lick as well as Paoli Peaks so we had to make at least a 30-40 minute drive to French Lick. But it was worth it for the privacy and seclusion of the home and the beauty of the lake view. Being an unusually warm day in January we were able to at least somewhat enjoy the outdoors. Another downside was that most of us had Sprint and were roaming the entire time so future visits would require planning that doesn't require pulling up internet options on a smart phone. Luckily there were some people with us who have Verizon and they had great service. We are already looking forward to planning future visits to the lake home.

Better than expected

Very nice place. Everything was as it was described. Beautiful decks and views overlooking the lake. Enough room for 7 adults, 3 teenagers, and 3 kids. Plenty of beds. The rental was very clean and neat. The owners were very organized and left notes about all important details. It snowed prior to our arrival, and the owners made sure the road was plowed. It then snowed again during our visit, and the owners had the lane plowed again. The kitchen had all of the basic tools needed. The was a second tv room upstairs which was nice for the kids to play in. Plenty of room for all.

There is not much to do in Leegootee as far as we could tell. French lick is only about 30 minutes away though, and Paoli is maybe about 40 minutes away. There are some grocery stores nearby. Phone service is limited and internet is very minimal if at all, but that was fine for a few days.
