The Old Summer House has a private entrance which opens into a living space that includes a daybed with pop-up trundle and a full kitchen. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave and coffeemaker. Upstairs is a queen bed and futon and the bathroom. Linens and towels are provided.

Dennis and Karen Stoner and their four children milked about 100 cows until 2008. Dennie continues to farm corn, soybeans, alfalfa and barley

Excellent all around!

This was the first time we have stayed in the Lancaster area, and we just didn't know where to choose. Since we love Shady Maple, we picked this property. Our expectations were exceeded in all areas. My husband and I and our 2 children spent two nights here. The setting is absolutely lovely, yet close to anything you could want. It is quiet and beautiful. The accommodations are exactly as described in the listing and photos, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided by Karen is truly outstanding - homemade and absolutely delicious! The children are already asking to come back for another stay.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
