This 2008 condo is ideally located a few minutes south of the downtown core, and it has great access to all of Kelowna's amenities (beaches, golfing, wineries, skiing, shopping, restaurants...).

- Unit overlooks pool courtyard, and is situated away from adjacent roads

- Sunny deck with a view to the southwest.

- Unit has 2 full bedrooms with separate bathrooms, and a den with a queen bed. Queen sofa pullout in main living area if required. We love this layout for our family of five. Perfect for two couples with or without kids. We recommend a maximum of 6 people to really enjoy this space, but with children would consider one or two more.

- Two parking spots in secure indoor parkade

- Outdoor pool and hot tub open spring through fall

- Fitness center and steam room open year round

- Cabana restaurant and coffee shop in building

- One block from Rotary Beach, Two blocks from Mission Creek Greenway, and across the street from the El Dorado and Manteo resorts. Short drive to the Pandosy restaurant/shopping area.

- Short drive to basic services (groceries, liquor store, Hortons, Starbucks etc), Gyro beach, Kelowna Hospital and Okanagan College

- World class skiing is less than an hour away at Big White

About Blair Temple

We are a family of 5 that resides in Calgary, Alberta. At our stage of life, we can only use the condo ourselves for a few weeks each year, and we rent the unit out while we aren't there to help cover costs.

Why Blair Temple chose Kelowna

We love the Kelowna area, the climate and activities in the area are just perfect for us and our children. My wife and I plan to spend much of our retirement at this location.

What makes this apartment unique

We researched the Kelowna area extensively before deciding that this was the property for us. The area is beautiful with everything we want nearby, and the Playa del Sol complex is top notch.

Our typical day in Kelowna starts with a coffee on the deck and then a jog down the Mission Creek Greenway. It is beautiful along the creek in the mornings. If the weather isn't good, there is a nice fitness center on site with a steam room to get you some exercise. After that, a quick dip in the pool is great to cool off. Afternoons are usually spent going to the beach, touring, boating, shopping, golfing or hiking depending on the weather and our energy level! Hanging out by the pool for the afternoon is also a favorite activity, Playa del Sol has a nice outdoor pool/hot tub open spring thru fall and large outdoor courtyards on the 3rd level.

You can have a barbeque on the deck or go out to eat at any one of dozens of great restaurants in the Kelowna area. The Cabana restaurant at Playa del Sol, and restaurants across the street at the El Dorado or Manteo resorts are all highly rated if you don't feel like driving anywhere. If you do want to go out, you can find pretty well any type of dining establishment in Kelowna.

Evenings can be filled with a variety of activities including movies, amusement parks, mini golf, night golf or going out to one of dozens of lounges and clubs in the city. Generally though, we spend most evenings at the condo relaxing on the deck as the days are so full. Go for a sunset walk over to Rotary Beach and the boardwalk in front of the Eldorado and Manteo, or drive downtown and go for a walk along the waterfront there. There are a couple of lovely little ice cream shops downtown for those with a sweet tooth...

Kelowna offers so many options. We love it and and we hope you will too!

Great place to stay!

We had four adults and one child stay at the condo and there was lots of room! It is decorated beautifully and very clean. We had a great time and will definitely stay there again.

Great Accommodation

We went to Kelowna for a family wedding over the Thanksgiving weekend and had the best accommodation ever. It was like being in our own condo, except this had a pool, hot tub & a garbage shoot. The weather wasn't very nice but that made it better for when family came for a turkey dinner. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen has all the ammenities that you could need; a nice size deck to sit on with a great view and 2 heated underground parking stalls. We would recommend this to anyone traveling and staying for a long weekend or a week's vacation. Thanks Blair for renting this unit to us, plus a thank you to Robin (Maids Gone Green) to showing us around.

Great Location! Clean Modern Unit.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at Playa del Sol. Our unit was modern and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the patio/pool area. The property has a nice little restaurant attached and is right accross the street from the lakefront properties (Eldorado and Manteo) that provide additional restaurant options. The location is very hany to groceries, retail etc... and you can walk to a lakefront park and Gyro beach. Blair was great to deal with and we are happy to recomend his unit as a great place to stay in Kelowna.

Spent spring break in Kelowna, condo worked out great for family of 5. Lots of room and a TV for each kid. Condo is well stocked with everything we needed and was very clean. Booking, check in/out was very smooth. We will be back again.

Quiet Clean Relaxed

Staying at this condo was one of the best ideas we have had. Traveling to Kelowna for a skiing getaway with 2 of 5 persons that don't ski left us in a bit of a quandary; however staying here relieved all our issues. While 3 of us skied the other 2 were left to relax and wander Kelowna.

The condo was spacious with there being no issues for 5 adults, we even had a family of 3 over for a visit and there was more than enough room. The kitchen was well maintained with more than enough dish and cookware to provide culinary cuisine from bbq steak to eggs benedict. The tub, after a full day skiing, was luxurious and a full 6 foot so stretching right out was grand.

Dealing with the property owners was a very relaxed experience. We booked a bit late for this type of holiday and as a result our first 2 attempts, with owners in this area, fell through and left us wondering if we were making a mistake. This was soon resolved with the property owners for this condo specifically. They were prompt, courteous, and professional, a true joy to do business with.

All in all if you are going to Kelowna for a holiday, and are looking for an alternative to hotels, I strongly suggest you book with this property owner. Just don't do it on the BC family day weekend. I think I may do this again and again and...

Unit #631 is a 2 bedroom with den layout that is great for a variety of groups. The main bedroom has its own bathroom (c/w shower and bathtub), walkin closet and patio door to access the balcony.
