Do you have children who’ll delight in the geckos and insects they can discover in the garden? Or do you love nature and the sight and scents of tropical flowers? An idyllic ocean side condo perfect for energetic kids or families seeking added privacy, Siesta Dunes Beach 38A is your perfect vacation rentals condo in Siesta Key, Florida.

Among this unit’s many splendid features is its large wooden-decked outdoor patio. With stylish seating, it’s a great spot for a relaxed morning coffee or gentle evening nightcap. Framed with a wooden balustrade and a trellis above, you’ll have ample time to enjoy Siesta Dunes’ famed landscaping.

In spite of your garden seclusion, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Pad down a sandy path towards the warm gulf waters - with rows of palm trees pointing the way. Your route takes you past the resort’s massive circular heated pool, which has a surplus of pool beds to choose from.

The condo itself is bright and cheerful, with light tiled floors and white walls. Turquoise blues and sunny yellows are accent colors - picked up in the living room’s comfortable sofas and cushions and blue rocking armchair. A square glass-topped coffee table completes a happy, functional space without filling it in.

A feature wall in the living room is painted in a dark sky blue - a color you’ll come to know well during endless days of perfect Florida sun. Against this wall sits your entertainment unit - well-stocked with TV, DVD player and stereo system. In the middle of this generous open-plan living area is a dining suite, with room enough for yourself and five lucky guests. An adjacent breakfast bar with three wrought iron high-backed stools makes a great hang-out spot while meal preparation is underway.

The kitchen is a real feature in this unit, where soaring vault ceilings lend a dramatic touch. Clean, white wooden cupboards sit nicely against rich wooden counter tops. All appliances are in-built, including a microwave - leaving extra room on the work space. Morning coffee and toast are ready in minutes - as are afternoon margaritas, courtesy of your available blender.

Quirky seating in the breakfast nook is nowhere more at home than on the gulf coast - royal blue cushioned wicker seats feature fish nets as chair backs. A large shuttered window makes this a sunny spot in which to spend lots of time. At the far end of the living area is a wall-length set of sliding doors, leading outside to your private screened lanai. There, enjoy meals outside around an ample dining table set beside lush, beautifully landscaped gardens.

Your happy vacation continues in the master bedroom where bright yellow walls light up as the room fills with sunshine from the second large set of sliding doors. This is a massive room, with lots of floor space available around its two queen beds. A large en-suite bathroom has plenty of counter space and many drawers to call your own. A feature vanity mirror really makes best use of this space.

Bedroom two is neat, tidy and very inviting. Decadent sea blue walls are a perfect contrast to white wooden shutters, framed artwork and wicker headboards. Two guests will happily unwind here in their twin beds. Each guest has use of their own chest of drawers, in addition to an in-built closet. An ample guest bathroom with a full bathtub is theirs to call their own.

Full-sized washer and dryer make this a truly convenient condo. Within the resort itself, you’ll have great opportunity to experience the many amenities of this large complex. The gorgeous beach and large beachfront deck, for one. Tennis and two heated pools, perhaps.

Yet, many guests find they enjoy the unplanned moments more than anything - finding geckos in the gardens with your children, spotting dolphins or committing perfect sunset after sunset to memory. From your home base at Siesta Key Dunes 38A, you’ll love the surprises that unfold.
My name is Steve Milo and I stay in Vacation Rental Homes when I travel both domestically and abroad. I own several vacation rental homes and listen carefully to our guests and their feedback and then opened my company Vacation Rental Pros in 2006! Our greatest compliment is when our guests refer our web site to their friends and relatives. AND, now Vacation Rental Pros is managing over 825 properties in Ft Myers Beach, Orlando, St Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and Ponte Vedra Beach. Our guests and their great 'word of mouth' have helped us expand to over 825+ vacation rentals. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2014.
We loved the condo, especially since the washer and dryer were in the unit. We also appreciated that there were 2 queen size beds in the master bedroom so our kids and grandkids could have their own room. The living room couches were quite old and warn out. Our only complaint was that there were tons of little ants in the kitchen cupboards and pantry and on the kitchen counters. We had to keep all the food in the fridge. There was also no contact person available at check in and when we called the number provided, no one ever called us back. We would definitely stay there again.
The location was fabulous. It was very quiet, yet close to all shopping. The beaches were amazing, a perfect place for a family vacation. My 3 kids also loved the large heated pool
I really enjoyed the whole stay. The best was the beach and sun set. Plan on coming again. Is a very safe place to stay.
Nice unit, well maintained if showing its age a little, and spotlessly clean. Problem is it's right next to Midnight Pass Road and that and the car park of next door's property is all you see from the veranda. To make things worse the unit is one of two which seem to be tacked on the end of a larger building and the end wall of this blocks any chance at all of seeing any sunset, and also reflects all the traffic noise back at you. The kitchen has such a great view of the property entrance I wonder if it was built as accommodation for a security guard originally. Shared facilities (pool etc) great, if located at the far end of the development.
we really enjoyed our time at Siesta dunes, we will definately come back. Its all you expect on a relaxing vacation. great job

great
Myself and 4 girlfriends rented this unit for our annual girls weekend. The unit is 'ok'. For the price we paid I expected more. The unit was clean but had a musty, smokey odor throughout the unit. It was on all the furniture and linens. (it even seeped into our clothes and luggage - I had to wash items once I arrived home that I didn't even wear due to the odor that lingered)

Also upon arrival FRI afternoon, after a day at the spa we each took showers and appeared to have hot water (or just enough). After a full day at the beach and pool on SAT, 5 women needed to shower and get dressed for dinner and discovered we had NO hot water. After much looking (the breaker box was behind a picture?) and a phone call to Cristina (mntc rep - who called back within 10 minutes and was very helpful) we discovered that the condo mntc staff apparently did not know the unit was rented for the short weekend and turned off the hot water to the unit before our arrival. Of course turning the hot water on at 6:30 was not enough time for it to heat up for 5 women to shower so needless to say we all took cold showers.

Also upon arrival the security guard had met us at the gate due to an issue with the gate code and let us in. Our unit was literally located at the gate. He instructed us where we could park and knew what unit we were in. (he had his clipboard with him etc but apparently did not take our vehicle info because on SUN when we were loading our car to leave we had a warning notice that the vehicle was not registered and would be towed??)

Overall - we had a great girls weekend regardless, but for the money we spent for 2 nights we will not be back to this location. The service we received from the rental agency was always pleasant.
Thank you.
