From the moment you arrive, you feel the enormous space for relaxing and entertaining that the house provides. Being on stilts, there is room to park at least 6 cars under the house.
The covered space also provides a shady play area for children to ride scooters and play games while adults enjoy outdoor grilling at its finest with the stainless steel Weber grill. Covered stairs take you to the first level where you will find: an enormous wide-open living room, huge kitchen with corian countertops and new stainless steel appliances, walk-in pantry, bathroom, bedroom (with rattan daybed, chair that converts to a twin bed, large flat screen TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and storage), free-standing bar perfect for pouring island drinks, and 2 sets of French doors opening to a huge porch with water views and warm Gulf breezes.
A flight of stairs takes you to the 2nd level and the: remaining bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room (washer/dryer), reading nook/area w/chaise, French doors to a patio with yet more views of the beach and intercoastal, and master bedroom (with master bathroom) and French doors leading to the balcony.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, huge master bathroom, large walk-in closet with plenty of storage, and desk. The balcony off the master bedroom provides everything you need to wake up ready for another glorious beach day: Gulf breeze, sounds of parrots, and terrific views.
The 3rd bedroom has a king-size bed and built-in closets. The 4th bedroom has two twin beds with trundle beds and built-in closets as well.
Finally, another flight of stairs takes you to the third level and roof-top patio with unbelievable views of the sunset and sunrise (if you're an early bird) as you can see both the beach and the intercoastal from the roof.
One of the wonderful things about Sunset Beach is that it is narrow and so you can see both the beach and the intercoastal! The roof-top patio is a great place to toast the sunset!
If you have never been to Sunset Beach, we hope that you visit this truly amazing and special community that is filled with wonderful and friendly neighbors who sit on their porches and love to chat, many seasonal renters who come back year after year, and of course sun, beaches, and water galore. On one end of the street is a beautiful, wide white powder beach with dolphins, shelling, fishing, and perfect sunsets. On the other end of the street is a community boat ramp on the crystal clear blue intercoastal. Sunset Beach is a peninsula and so there are no major roads to cross, and very limited traffic. Just a short walk down the beach is our local restaurant, Caddy's, where you can grab a beer and a hamburger while burying your toes in the sand.
