When you sit out on one of the 2 large decks taking in the breathtaking sunset view overlooking Norris Lake you will wonder why it took so long to discover this spectacular getaway vacation. There is something for everyone; bring your boat or rent a boat at Springs Docks just minutes away to go fishing, skiing and swimming. The mountains lend themselves to hiking with golf nearby. There is access to a swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts as well as a children's playground. Come back to our smoke-free house after a day on this crystal clear lake for continued fun with family or friends, Crank up the music on the top notch sound system to dance the night away, start a ping pong or corn hole tournament, watch movies on the Satellite TVs with DVD and CD located on both the main level and lower level, fire up either the gas or charcoal grills, or maybe just slip into one of the 2 lake view jacuzzis in the 2 master bedrooms on the main level. If you can picture yourself doing any one of these activities Ficke's View is the perfect house for you. Located on a quiet street in the gated Deerfield Resort Community you will feel as though Norris is your own private getaway.

The modern kitchen is fully equiped and faces the lake so you never miss out on the view. An open floorplan allows for everyone to be a part of the fun. A separate lower level family room houses the ping pong table and another TV.

We will furnish the bed linens and kitchen towels. You just need to bring bath and beach towels. A washer and dryer are provided if you should need them.

This is a year round getaway home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental property! It was a very nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of our big city life. Our teens had a great time and there was plenty of room in this house for our large family to be comfortable. We will definitely be back and are glad that we found this gem! Very nice home. There were 14 of us from ages 8-80 and we all had plenty to keep us busy from ping pong to corn hole to just relaxing on the deck and watching the great outdoors. Saw several deer, even a baby one! We rented pontoon boats on Norris Lake from Norris Dam Marina. The lake really is clean. I was skepical when I read that but it is true! What a great, very clean, very large lake!

We first stayed in your home in 2002 - I found the note - When we had 3 babies. They are now 10,8,8! The view is still beautiful, one of the best in Deerfield. Your colorful walls are nice. I like your house so much we used it as a design for ours, built 5 years ago. This is our first rental of your house since then - it is usually not available. Hope you get to enjoy it too.
