Condo, Studio + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

Heart of Downtown's old town location. Just steps to dozens of attractions, restaurants and clubs and 100 meters to the west coast ocean harbour know as the Victoria's Inner Harbour.

This converted 1883 Hotel know as the Oriental Hotel was converted to condominiums in 2011 to gives you all the amenities while retaining the charm of a yesteryear hotel. Its a great location to explore the beauty of British Columbia's capital city, Victoria.

You can sail around the inner harbour on Harbour Ferries to such great spots as FIsherman's Wharf and enjoy fresh seafood at Barbs Fish and Chips, or walk down the causeway to see the Buskers and street vendors in front of the Grand Empress Hotel. Or just enjoy the 19th century pace of a horse drawn carriage ride. Its all here complete with the BC Museum (+Imax), the Maritime Museum, great shopping and food.

If your looking for affordable and convenient location, this is it.

As a couple who value the character and architecture, we have always admired this building, so when they did this conversion to condos in 2011, we were interested in owning a piece of it.

By locating in the heart of downtown, you have access to literally hundreds of fine restaurants, attractions and shopping plus great walks and sight seeing along the waterfront.

My sister and I spent an enjoyable week together in this modern, convenient condo in downtown Victoria. It was a perfect location, within walking distance to many attractions and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The condo was spotless, and equiped with a full kitchen. Darryl and Nancie were great, and even provided an inflatible mattress with sheets and a new duvet so that we could each have our own bed. I will recommend this to my friends and family. Great place in downtown Victoria!

We stayed here for about 2 weeks in the summer. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown on Yates. We had access to any of our favorite Victoria restaurants, shopping or just walking within minutes, which was great. The place is quite new and very well taken care of. Darrel was very friendly and helpful with making sure we had everything we needed. The place has a full kitchen outfitted with everything needed to make meals, etc. The bed in the loft was very comfy, but the ladder and low ceiling in the loft may be a little challenging for some (older crowds). But we were fine with the loft otherwise. Excellent place. I'd recommend this to friends for sure.

Great Alternative to a Hotel

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference in Victoria and we had an excellent stay. The location of the property was superb. Being in the heart of town we were able to walk to pretty much every restaurant we had on our list of places to eat and then some. It was approximately a 5 minute walk from the property to the conference center at the Empress Hotel and this was extremely convenient. The loft was very clean, well-maintained and quiet. Darrel was extremely helpful when it came to answering our questions and very pleasant to deal with. We highly recommend this property and we will definitely seek it out next time we visit Victoria.

Fantastic hot spot in the city

If you enjoy being in the heart of the city surrounded by food and activities to d, then this is the perfect place! My boyfriend and I stayed here and we could not have asked for a better location. It is central to everything in Victoria. Darrel and Nancy took very good care of setting us up in the condo and making sure we had a great time!
