2 night minimum. Fantastic unobstructed view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico from the unit and patio. Step right out in the morning from this ground floor unit in SeaHorse Beach Resort to enjoy coffee or tea on the lovely patio. Swim in the ocean or beachside pool, gather shells, watch for dolphins, play beach volleyball, make dinner on the charcoal grills, enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Eat-in kitchen, microwave, new stove and fridge. 40' flat screen TV & DVD player. Very comfortable king size bed + new twin sleeper sofabed in chocolate brown microfiber. In Sept 2012, installed new Italian porcelain tile throughout that looks like a cottage wood floor. 'Handicapped toilet - 2 inches (?) higher like in most hotels, installed 9/2012. About Linda Adrian

My husband and I are from the Chicago area. We are now retired and live full-time on Longboat Key, 10 minutes from this SeaHorse unit. We feel that we have discovered Paradise! We both play tennis several times a week. My husband is Vice President of the Community Board at the 272 unit complex where we live. We also enjoy fitness classes and walking everywhere around this beautiful island and Sarasota. For me, the continuing challenge of bridge.

Beach resort is conveniently located mid-island, 1 mile North of Avenue of the Flowers Shopping Center (CVS, Publix, etc.) Short drive to St. Armand's Circle, with many shops, boutiques, galleries, and indoor/outdoor restaurants. Check out Mote Marine's aquariums, shark tank, giant turtles, huge manatees, and more. Selby Gardens in nearby Sarasota provides wonderful walking paths and world famous orchid greenhouse. Sarasota is 'circus town,' home of Ringling museum. Circus may be available during your visit.

This place is AWESOME. Patio door opens to the ocean beach. Has everything needed for an awesome beach vacation. Owner has taken a lot of care and money to make this room "RIGHT". The bed sleeps so well I want to buy one for our house! Large TV with cable was excellent. Several Grills and tables outside as well. Several hiking trails on Longboat Key, we Biked Durante Park as well as Point Park. Both outstanding rides! Look forward to coming back next year!

Clean and cozy. A million dollar view. We used the patio constantly...breakfast, dinner and drinks.Being able to walk out of our room and onto the beach was amazing. The bed was soooo comfortable. It was great being so close to Sarasota but we felt like we were in our own little world at The Seahorse. We will be back for sure.

Perfect location - just steps from the beach. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating area for the view. We ate breakfast outside every morning & relaxed in the afternoon.


For those wanting a free place to play tennis - head to the community courts beside the ACE Hardware. Speaking of ACE - bike rentals are $8.00 and worth the ride (especially in the cool morning hours).


Thanks to Linda for her excellent suggestions & frequent emails. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Clean and step right on the beach!

Very cozy and comfortable. Most of all for us, clean! Bed was great. Walls are thick. Sleep was wonderful. Beach, pool, ect could not have been better. Staff was friendly. Everything you need to cook. We will be back and we will look for this unit when we do! Thank you for one of our best vacations ever. Oh yeah, never seen so much wildlife at the beach. Had a visitor on the deck almost every morning.

This unit is very nice with an exception view. Loved the first floor unit with a private patio! Decorated well. Fully functional kitchen. I will be back for sure.
