Traveling to Padre

I loved the last minute availability and that this was a pet friendly unit. Little things that need to be fixed were of no disturbance to enjoying my time and the condo being efficient. I felt safe in this small condo unit. The first floor was outstanding for pets. Beautiful flowers and hot tub area. Hot tub super Hot; the way its supposed to be. I bring my own things because I like my own cutting knives and cutting boards etc. But, if you don't bring your own this place has a few extras for you. However keep in mind salt air close to the ocean does cause rust; it comes with the territory! If you are traveling and new to the beach seen and it smells musty; TURN ON THE HUMIDIFIER! It really works. My dogs LOVED it. Cleanliness of the floor needs to be told the the cleaning crew but I was understanding. I prefer my own sheets too so I brought one of those and I was glad I did. Plus, just in case my dogs shedded any I caught most of it on my stuff. I loved the beach towels being provided. I like the tall wood shelf with magazines and flyers on it about the surrounding area, but I didn't see it until day 3 so I moved it from behind the chairs. The TV- cool, it has netflix and all the cable channels; but really, I didn't watch much TV; the beach was more entertaining. I loved La Hacienda restaurant, and Yummies for lunch. I watched the sunset on the bay side almost every night. The night time cruise with shrimp is awesome! The condo was fantastic and I would definitely rent again! Thank you for last minute accommodations!

Owner's Response: If the humidity gets too high, the island condos will get a musty odor so it is important to leave the dehumidifier on. Some guests either push the wrong button or are unfamiliar with the thermostat controller and the musty smell will come about. Just push the button to the far right to remove the humidity from the air and problem solved. About the floor problem, I think maintainence came about with the blower after mowing the lawn and blew dirt or grass under the door. Sorry about that.. Hope it was satisfactory to you that I refunded a portion of the cleaning fee.. Thanks for having dinner with us Dede.. We really apreciate the feed back :)
