This is a spacious (1200 sq ft) and comfortable 2/2 located about 1 block from the main ski lift and 1 mile from the country club lodge/golf course. If you have never been to Angel Fire, there is a ton of information available on the web at skishiner dot com and angelfirefun dot com.
One of the very best extra benefits of this unit is a GARAGE with automatic opener located underneath. It has an an inside entrance into a fully carpeted, decorated hallway that services only 4 units. You don't have to deal with snow if you don't want to. Step out of your car onto a clean, dry, ice free surface where you don't have to worry about your footing. It is great for families with small kids and for people who hate scraping ice and snow off of their cars. Which should be just about everyone! Also, you have plenty of garage space to store skis, bikes, clubs, and all of the normal Angel Fire gear. There is a contract for automatic snow removal from the driveway, making access a breeze. Plenty of additional parking outside for people with more than one vehicle.
Our complex is just 12 larger units nestled into a hillside. Our unit is on a corner and is surrounded by windows and large sliders with a wonderful view of the trees and mountains. It has a large wrap-around deck and even has a small deck off the master.
The fully stocked kitchen includes a classic Jenn-Air down-draft indoor grill and griddle, trash compactor, stove, fridge with ice-maker, and dishwasher. The cabinets are stocked with spices, dishes, glassware, flatware, pans, crock pot, mixer, blender, toaster and more. Everything you need-just show up with your groceries.
The unit is tastefully decorated with southwest/alpine styled furnishings and art. Both bedrooms come with high quality pillow top king size beds, so you can get the best nights rest possible. We've been slowly upgrading - new windows, sliding doors, and beautiful fireplace stonework.
Unlike many second home rentals, this unit has new linens and fluffy towels to pamper you. Linens and towels are included, as well as kitchen and bathroom soaps and detergents.
There are also in-unit gadgets available, such as an iron, hair-dryer, and humidifier. So leave yours at home and save that luggage space for the things you really want to carry. Do your laundry with the IN UNIT new large capacity front-loading washer/dryer.
When you are not out on the mountain, golf course, or hiking, kick back and relax. The living room has a new flat screen tv and each of the bedrooms has a tv. There is cable throughout including some premium channels. Blu-ray players are provided as well. You will find a small library for a solitary escape and a collection of board games for family fun. Please note that due to internet limitations in Angel Fire, at this time we do not offer wifi. The local library, the resort cafe, and many other sites around town offer free wifi. The library accesses into the parking lot, as well (in the warmth of your car).
Angel Fire is a great little community filled with and surrounded by outdoor activities. Every season offers something special for all ages and skill-levels, whether on the mountain skiing or biking, zip-lining, tubing, sledding, fly-fishing the Cimarron or Rio Grande gorge, golfing at the club, hiking around the wetlands and private lakes, fishing Eagle Nest Lake, bird and animal watching in the Kit Carson Nat'l Forest, watching movies on the mountain, playing pickle-ball, climbing the Palisades, visiting the pueblos, visiting Philmont, horseback riding, snowmobiling, ballooning, white-water rafting, 4-wheeling...... If it is an activity on a mountain, river, lake, creek, golf course, or in the air, you can find it here or very near-by.
The wildlife is amazing and can be seen everywhere. Or you can just choose to spend time shopping, museum-ing, and spa-ing some of the very fine facilities in nearby Taos and Santa Fe.
Angel Fire has some great places to eat New Mexican cuisine, and the local grocery store was recently remodeled and upgraded with a wonderful selection of gourmet foods and a large selection of wines and spirits.
The country club lodge is minutes away, open to the public, and has a GREAT bar and restaurant (and full gym with an indoor pool), and is the headquarters for the new Nordic Park and a nice Racquet Club. The very near-by community center constantly offers activities and has an indoor gym, outdoor playground, as well as weekend worship services.

These condos have a nice little private wooded hillside, an outdoor picnic area, and a large outdoor fire-pit. The wrap-around porch gets great morning sun where you can enjoy your coffee along with the view. It feels like you are in the trees! If you never want to be outside.... it is easy to just drive into the garage, open the hallway access door, and go upstairs to the condo. AND never have to scrape ice or snow from your car! The ski bus picks up at the end of our driveway if you don't want to walk. Most units in our condo are strictly second-homes, which makes it quiet and secure.

Exceeded my expectations. This condo was very clean with comfortable furnishings and Great beds. Cooking was easy with nice cooking gear...even spices. Really appreciated the garage. These owners know how to treat their guests. Conveniant and close to everything. Plan to escape summer heat here and enjoy the great outdoors.
We stayed here for our family's spring break trip this year. The owners were very helpful prior to our arrival with an abundance of information to accommodate our time in Angel Fire. The condo was absolutely comfortable and homey. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The living area was conducive to family time. The kitchen had everything you would need. The washer and dryer were near new and handy to cut down on the amount of clothes we brought. We were so happy with our stay at this condo that we are already looking in to coming back next year. We have never been closer to the slopes. Loved having the garage parking! Rooms are good size, never felt cramped. Condo was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Hope we can come this summer!! Owners extremely easy to work with, very accommodating!
A beautifully furnished condo and well supplied. The owners are very easy to work with, very helpful, and they have great taste! Comfortable beds, warm/clean linens, lots of kitchen gadgets, linens, soaps and such. Nice to have a garage to keep ski and sled equipment, and not have to scrape ice off windows. A bit too far to walk in ski boots (with equipment) to the lifts, but a shuttle can pick you up right on the street.
