Best place in the French Quarter!

What a great place this is! I was on a business trip and all hotels were booked due to a convention. I ended up with a place so much better than a hotel room! This condo is a block off of Bourbon street, just down from Pat O'Brien's. It has a HUGE balcony that is perfect for hanging out and listening to the music and Bourbon street vibe, however just walk inside the condo and all is perfectly quiet - perfect distance from the action.
The condo is very clean, modern and spacious. And the best part was the owner, David, better known as Salty. What a gracious host! David was at the condo waiting for me upon arrival. He showed me around, oriented me to area, made great restaurant recommendations, etc. He had water and sodas in the fridge, and also had some snacks. There's a certain level of anxiety when renting through VRBO, but rest assured, David will take care of you. He is very responsive.
My favorite part of the stay: coffee on the balcony in the mornings, watching the Quarter wake up. Very peaceful. Be sure to check out Spitfire Coffee, down towards the river on St. Peter - about a 5 minute walk. Each cup is "hand-brewed" - you'll have to experience it to understand.
