PIRATES BEACH - BEAUTIFUL 5 BEDROOM WITH HOT TUB!

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Catalina! There where 8 adults and 3 three year olds along with a 4 month old baby. Yes we still had a great time!!

The living room was large enough for children to spread out and play and adults to relax. The bedrooms were well laid out to give us all a good nights sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. We loved the location which is a short walk to the beach. The house is well maintained and the decor is very well done. Lilly is fun to deal with and on the ball with any questions we had.

We rented a golf cart from Ricks even though we could walk to the beach but with little ones it worked out well. Ricks service was also very good!

We will rent this house again when we have that many family members coming.

We rented the house to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The house was plenty big enough to accomodate our group of 8 adults and 2 children.

Upon arrival we found one of the cleanest houses we've ever vacationed in. No surface was left untouched by the cleaning crew. I'm amazed how they managed to get every grain of sand out of the house between vacationers. The furniture is well maintained and fitting to the house. Plenty of open space in the main living area. The wrap around porch was excellent for the kids to play or adults relax.

The beds were very comfortable and linens of a good quality. The stairs going to the third level are a little steep for older adults or very small children. If traveling with children I suggest packing a child gate for use with these stairs. If all adults or older children no worries.

The kitchen was wonderful with plenty of counteer spacand storage. Our only complaint about the property is the ice maker produces about three glasses of ice a day. Plan on purchasing several bags of ice. My suggestion to the owner is to install a seperate ice maker in the kitchen or laundry room. We spent well over $100 on ice during our week stay.

The beach is a very short walk from the house. The beach is kept swept and much cleaner than other beaches in the area. It was never crowded and mainly conistsed of people staying in the neighborhood. Very little public traffic.

Our family looks forward to a trip back to Galveston and this house in the future. I highly recommend this house. Excellent!
